It's the first Monday of the month, which means it's time for a new challenge on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog. This month's optional theme is "Birth of New Beginnings". You can use this theme, or any positive theme you'd like. We have 2 guest sponsors this month at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog, Kitten Scraps, and Limited Runs.
For this portion of the challenge, I had the pleasure of creating with Kitten Scraps products. I used the wonderfully loaded Spring Blooms Digital Scrapbooking Bundle to create this:
Most of this is pre-printed. I used a few touches of Copic markers to emphasize some colors. It was great fun to create with the many components in the Kitten Scraps Spring Blooms Bundle.
I hope you join in on our "Birth of New Beginnings" challenge over on the Path of Positivity challenge blog this month. The challenge runs April 2.
I have this blog as a place to share my creative self -- be it card making, music playing, scrapbooking, altered art, home decor, or whatever direction my art takes me. My dogs are always a part of my home life, so they have to be a part of my blog, too.

Grateful -- for Path of Positivity
It's Monday, and time for a little mid-month inspiration at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. The challenges are month long, and this month's theme is 'Appreciation'. I think this is a great theme for the month of Thanksgiving (at least here in the U.S.)!
I appreciate our wonderful guest sponsors this month, and I'll tell you more about them after I show you the card I made using an incredible scrapbooking kit from one of our guest sponsors this month, Kitten Scraps:
I used several elements from the 'Family Feast Kit' to create this card. The moose and turkey clip are, the 'Grateful' sentiment tag, the tag behind the twosome, and the awesome papers are all from the Kitten Scraps Family Feast Kit (and there's LOTS more to explore!)
All I needed to complete the card were Spellbinders dies for the shape and a bit of crinkle ribbon.

A Day For Daisies is one of our wonderful sponsors this month. One lucky challenge entry will get a $12 gift certificate to the Day For Daisies Store.
Kitten Scraps is our other guest sponsor. One lucky challenge winner will get a $20 gift certificate to the Kitten Scraps store.
Thanks, also to our regular sponsors, Creative Bug Digital Stamps & Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.
I hope you can join in on our 'Appreciation' themed challenge this month at Path of Positivity. It goes until Dec. 4, so there's plenty of time to link up!

Retired, and Loving It! -- for Path of Positivity
It's time for a little mid-month inspiration at the Path of Positivity Challenge blog. The theme all this month is 'Achievement'.
We have 2 great sponsors this month --

For today's project, I had the pleasure of working with a digi stamp kit from Kitten Scraps called Retired Life.
I colored this adorable digi with Copic markers, then used a Sizzix die set to create the card and cut out the image.
Papers for this card are from Doodlebug Designs. There's some Timeless Twine wrapped around the base and tied in a bow.
Retirement -- now that's a big achievement, and one I'm working hard to obtain! We spend our whole working career hoping to reach the elusive goal. Several of my friends have retired recently with the purchase of the facility I work in. A few of us are hoping to follow them in the not-too-distant future. Yes, retirement is a huge achievement!
I hope you can join us this month at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our 'achievement' challenge. I'd love to see your take on achievement, and I'd love to see what you create.

Christmas Thank You Card -- for Path of Positivity
It's time for some mid-month inspiration, and a bit of a reminder of our theme at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is Gratefulness.
I'm grateful for many things, including all the wonderful people that remember my husband and I with gifts year after year at Christmas time. I'm trying to prepare some Christmas thank you cards ahead of time. I made one of those for this challenge.
One of our sponsors this month is Kitten Scraps. Most everything on this card is from a Kitten Scraps Kit, Winter Playground Bundle.
The card was created digitally. I started with a journaling card. It had the 'Let it Snow" and branch on it. I add the penguin with snow shovel image and the snow flakes to the journaling card, then printed it and fussy cut it. I found 2 papers from the many, many beautiful ones in the Winter Playground kit to choose from that I thought would blend and contrast with the tag. I printed these, and mounted it all on a piece of card stock. The card stock, bling, and glitter trim are from Close To My Heart. Everything else you see is from the Winter Playground Kit. There are many, many options!
I am grateful to Kitten Scraps for her generosity to the Path of Positivity Challenge blog. She is a wonderful sponsor!
