Boo! for Scribbles Designs

It's the 23rd of the month, and it's the day I leave a bit of inspiration on the Scribbles Designs Blog.

I've been working hard to get enough Halloween cards made for the residents I visit in the nursing home where I volunteer.  I took advantage of this adorable #f97 pumpkin (free) that I found in the Scribbles Designs Store to create another Halloween Card:

I colored #F97 Pumpkin with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.  The die cuts are all from Spellbinders. The papers are from Close To My Heart.

Check out what the other Scribbles Designs team members created today! You won't be disappointed!

You are Strong! for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so it's time for some mid-month inspiration over at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  The optional twist this month is "courage", or you can link up anything you create with a positive theme.

Every month, our ongoing sponsor is Scribbles Designs.  I found an awesome, free sentiment in the Scribbles Designs Store that I used as the focal point of my card:

I printed the sentiment large and bold onto white card stock, then began inking.  I used a few pink shades of ink from my Spectrum Noir Harmony ink pads. I love the way they blend!   I found the wonderful pink ribbon designer paper in the Imagine That Digistamp Store. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and the very old brad is from Close To My Heart.

We are also sponsored this month from Beccy's Place.  Link up your projects to be eligible to win a gift certificate from her store!  You have until Nov. 3.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Scary Cat -- for Sketch Saturday Challenges

It's Saturday (YEA!!!), and that means there's a new sketch and a new challenge starting on the Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog.  Every Saturday, there's a fantastic sketch, a wonderful sponsor, and inspiration to get you started.

Our sponsor this week is Scribbles Designs.  I found this darling freebie in the store.  I used it earlier this week for my inspiration post on the Scribbles Blog, and enjoyed it so much, I used it again today, knowing it would work well for today's sketch.  What do you think?

The Scribbles Designs digi is Scary Cat. Like I mentioned above, he is free, and very cute, don't you think? Follow this link to grab him for yourself.

Here's today's sketch:
In order to get the cat to fit right, I rotated the sketch 90 degrees.  Other than that, I followed the sketch closely.

Papers for this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Halloween papers.  Both the ghost and the "Boo!" sentiment are dies from Spellbinders. The scalloped oval dies are from Cottage Cutz.

I hope you enjoy this sketch as much as I did.  Link up, and you could win a prize from our wonderful sponsor, Scribbles Designs!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Eek! for Scribbles Designs

It's the 23rd of the month, and this is the day I'm featured of the Scribbles Designs Blog with a Scribbler's Showcase feature.  I've begun thinking of Halloween, and I've made my first card of the season for today's post:

This card features Scribbles Designs digital image, #96 Scary Cat.  It is a freebie, and perfect for those Halloween cards!  Go grab it following this Scary Cat link.

I printed Scary Cat unto some purple card stock, then used a wide stitched square die by Cottage Cutz to frame it with.

The fun spiderweb paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of 8 papers in the Web Works Collection.

The black cat and the 'Eek' sentiment are Spellbinders dies.

Back to School -- for Scribbles Designs

It's the 23rd of the month, and it's the day I leave some inspiration on the Scribbles Designs Blog.  School is starting on Monday in the small town where I live, and everywhere I go, the talk is about "back to school."  With that in mind, I created this card:

This is is looooooong.  It fits in a business sized envelope.  It measures 4 x 8.5 inches.

The cute fish were created using the #F88 Bubbles.  It is a free image in the Scribbles Designs Store.  I first placed Bubbles in my photo editing software so I could flip it 180 degrees.  Then, I placed Bubbles in my documents program so I could copy and re-size the fish to make the "school", and adding the sentiment.   Once I got things sized the way I wanted, all that was left was coloring the school of Bubbles with Copic markers.

I found the orange and green papers I was looking for in the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Orange Retro papers and the Distressed Burlap papers

I cut the card base and the fish elements out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with files I found in the Silhouette Design Store.

I hope you find time to visit the Scribbles Designs Blog.  You'll find more inspiration there, along with fun challenges each month.  Then, visit the Scribbles Designs Store for great digis, including this freebie!

To the Beach -- for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so it's time for some mid-month inspiration over on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  The optional twist this month is: relaxation.  You can make a project using this optional theme, or link up any positive themed project you'd like.

One of our ongoing sponsors is Scribbles Designs.  I used the very fun digi image, To the Beach to create my "relaxation" card:

I colored up the To the Beach sign with Copic markers, then cut it out.  The sentiment is my own, and was computer generated.  Papers on this card are from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles, and are part of her Taste of Summer kit.

I find being at the lake one of the most relaxing places to be.  If I have a choice, take me to the beach!

I hope you will join us this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our optional Relaxation themed challenge.  You have until September 1st to link up.

Chillaxin' with Sketch Saturday

It's Saturday, and I'm starting today on the Sketch Saturday design team.  I often use their past sketches when I need ideas to jump start a card, and I like to participate in their challenges.  So, it seemed like a good fit!

There's a new challenge every week at Sketch Saturday. There are 2 teams, so I'll be posting every other Saturday.  Today's challenge is sponsored by Scribbles Designs.  They are offering a $10 Gift Certificate to their store.

First, my creation, and then, this week's sketch:

The image I used from Scribbles Designs is #F163 Summer Treats. It is a freebie that I found on their Challenge Blog here

Here is this week's Sketch Saturday sketch:
As you can see, I followed the sketch very closely, except I tied some twine around the top of the image, and a bow where the twine is tied on the sketch.  Other than that, I'm exactly with the sketch.

Papers on this card are from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  They are from her Taste of Summer kit

I hope you enjoy this sketch as much as I did, and join us this week at Sketch Saturday.   I'd love to see how you use it!

Hello Summer - for Scribbles Designs

It's the 23rd of the month, and that means it's my day to post on the Scribbles Design Blog.  It's Inspiration day!

Since we are smack dab in the middle of the lazy days of summer, I created a summer/beach themed project for today:

This uses #848 Flip Flops, colored with Copic markers.  The papers are from Imagine That Digistamps.  The sentiment is a die set that I cut out in colors to match the Flip Flops and papers.  It was purchased in the Dies R Us Store.

I hope you can visit the Scribbles Designs Blog to see what the other talented designers contributed for today's inspiration post.

You're Amazing -- for Scribbles Designs

It's the 23rd of the month (these months go by so fast!), so this is the day that I have some inspiration on the Scribbles Designs Blog

I've been gravitating towards black and bright pink lately, so I did the same combination again for today's card.  I used a free image from the Scribbles Store called Sunny Flower, and created this:

I colored Sunny Flower (free) with Copic markers, then used a sentiment stamp from Close To My Heart.  It is acrylic.   The black and white flowered background paper is a new release this month from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the Coneflower Love papers.  It, and the raspberry colored banner are cut out with dies from Avery Elle.  I kept this card flat for easy mailing.

That's it for today's DT inspiration on the Scribbles Designs Blog.  Check out what the other designers have to share.  You won't be disappointed!

Farrah the Flamingo -- Fabulous! for Scribbles Designs

It's the 23rd of the month, and the day I have some inspiration on the Scribbles Designs blog.  Every 23rd of the month, you'll find me there!

Today, I'm featuring Farrah the Flamingo.  There are a number of Farrah Flamingo digis in the store, but this is Farrah Flamingo Close Up:

I colored Farrah Flamingo Close Up with Copic markers, then used a Lifestyle Crafts circle die to cut it out, and another one a size bigger to cut out a black circle to back it with.

The fun designer papers on this card are from Imagine That Digistamp. They are the Tropical Breeze papers.  The 'Fabulous' sentiment is a cut from a die from Frantic Stamper, purchased at the Dies R Us Store.  The flamingo was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file found in the Silhouette Design Store.

I used a sketch from Sketch Saturday on this card.  It was last week's sketch.

You Are My Moon & Stars -- for Path of Positivity

It's Monday, and it's time for some mid-month inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  This month, the optional challenge theme is 'Admiration', or you can enter any positive themed project you'd like.  Our ongoing sponsor each month is Scribbles Designs.

My husband is a source of great inspiration for me, and I admire him very much.  He has a work ethic that few can rival, calling in sick once in his nearly 30 years with the company he works for.  His 8 hour work days are 10-11 hours each and every day, although he's paid for 8, and I could go on and on.  I made him this card, using a free image found in the Scribbles Designs Store, to show him my appreciation for the things he does for me:

I used #F146 Moon & Stars, colored with Copic markers.  The star and moon die is from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with a die from Spellbinders.  The starry sky background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is a new release this month. It is one of the Moon Desert papers.

It's the 23rd of the month, and that means I'm up for some inspiration over on the Scribbles Designs blog.  Every 23rd, it's my turn to leave a bit of inspiration.  Since Easter isn't too far away, I decided to make an Easter card for my inspiration.

Here it is!

This card uses Scribbles Designs image, #440 Bunny Bum, colored with Copic markers.

Papers on this card are from AMB Illustrations.  I computer generated the sentiment.  The bunny die cut is from Impression Obsession, and can be found in the Dies R Us Store.  I used dies and supplies from Close To My Heart to make the shaker.

You can find the #440 Bunny Bum image,  and many more wonderful digis, in the Scribbles Designs Store.  You can find more inspiration, challenges, and even some free images on the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog.  Check it all out!

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, and that means it's time for some mid-month inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. The optional theme in March is 'Friendship'.  That's an easy one!

One of our sponsors this month (and every month this year) is Scribbles Designs.  I used several Scribbles Designs digital stamps and an SDD paper to create this friendship themed card:

I thought this sentiment was so much fun, I decided to make it the focal point.  It's #005 Friendships.  The flip flops are #848 Flip Flops, and the pretty flower paper is a freebie from Scribble Doodle Designs, and can be found here

It's Your Day -- for Scribbles Designs

It's Saturday, and it's your Day!  Do what you want to do!

It's also the 23rd of the month, so it's my day for some inspiration on the Scribbles Designs Blog.  I wanted bright and cheerful, so I created this:

I used a free image you can find in the Scribbles Designs Store.  It's called "It's Your Day" (F158).  You can grab it in both JPG and PNG formats.

I colored this up with my brightest, boldest, neon colored Copic markers, and some gel pens in my collection.  Papers are from AMB Illustrations.   The pink discs are from Close To My Heart.

Simple, bold, effective.  My kind of card!  I hope you check out the Scribbles Designs Store and see all the wonderful images there (many of them free!)

Loving is Easy -- for Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so it's time for a bit of mid-challenge inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  This month, the optional theme is "Love".  That's an easy one for February!

We have 2 sponsors this month -- Beccy's Place and Scribbles Designs.  I used products from both of them on this card:

I printed the Nasturtium and Loving More sentiment directly unto the frame.  Then, I colored the Nasturtium with Faber-Castell colored pencils.

Papers on this card are from Heartfelt Creations.  I added foil to one of the papers to give the card more of a "wow" factor for the recipient.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I'm really enjoying their 3/8 inch ribbons.  They are perfect for cards.

You can win prizes for both our wonderful sponsors.  Simply link up a project that fits into the optional "Love" category at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

Inspirational Birthday -- for Path of Positivity

It's Monday, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is "anything inspirational" -- that's a pretty broad topic!

After surviving cancer, I have a different outlook on birthdays.  Any birthday needs to be celebrated with gusto, and just making it to the next one is inspirational and cause for a wonderful celebration. You will never hear me complain about turning a year older again!

I have a birthday card for the challenge today, featuring an image and sentiment from one of our sponsors this month, Scribbles Designs.  When you first look at it, it might not look particularly inspirational, but it is!  This birthday card, intentionally made with bright colors and bright papers, is for a friend with cancer.  When diagnosed, she didn't know if she'd make it to her upcoming birthday, but she will.  We are going to celebrate it big time.  She won't see another one, so this one has to be REALLY special!

Here's the card:
This card uses an image and sentiment from the Carl Party set. I colored the presents with Copic markers.

Papers on this card are from Pixel Scrapper.  I love how colorful they are!

I found a sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches and really liked it, so you used on this card.  It will be my first time entering one of their challenges, so I'm excited about that!
Here's the sketch:

Winter Blues -- for Aloha Friday Challenges

It's Friday, and today it's time for some midway inspiration on the Aloha Friday Challenge blog.  This time, the theme is Winter Blues.  One of our sponsors is Scribbles Designs.  I loved using this Wintertime Subway Art!

I was able to create a very fast card, simply printing the Wintertime Subway Art, adding a bit of color, then adding some die cuts.

The background paper is from We Are 3.  It is from the newly released Snowmen paper.  The snowflake banner is from La La Land Crafts.  I don't know who makes the deer die cut.  I've had it for quite awhile.

The Winter Blues challenge goes for another week at Aloha Friday Challenges.  I hope you can join us!  Link up through next Thursday, January 24!

Peace -- for Scribbles Designs

This is it!  My last Christmas card of 2018, but it will more than likely be used in 2019. This card is part of the Scribbler's Showcase, using a Scribbles Designs image:

This is Santa Reindeer, printed on white card stock, then inked with various colors of Tim Holtz Distress Inks. This Santa Reindeer image was released during the recent Raise the Hoof event.  If you haven't participated, you have until Jan. 4 to win some awesome prizes!
