You Rock! for All Dressed Up Stamps

September 1 -- it's the start of all sorts of challenges, and September is the start of the new school year for many children, so at All Dressed Up Stamps, we're sticking with that theme, and have a For The Kidz challenge in the Facebook Group this month.  Wendy has so many great kid images -- boy, girl,  (young and older), so this is an amazingly easy challenge to participate in!  Check out the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop, pick out your new favorite image, and get busy creating!

I used the Rock My World digital stamp to create this:

I hang out with many musicians, young and old, so I think I can use this card for many different friends and many different occasions!

I colored Rock My World with Copic markers, adding in a computer generated sentiment.  The papers are some old Fancy Pants Designs scrapbook papers I've had, and the embellishments were with the papers.  I didn't want to over-embellish, as it's a masculine card.

I hope you find time to join either the Facebook Group "For the Kidz" Challenge this month, or check out the challenge happening on the All Dressed Up Blog.  You'll be glad you did!

Sock Monkeys! For Bugaboo Stamps

Do you remember sock monkey?  Talk about taking me back to childhood!

Today's Friday Freebie at Bugaboo Stamps, is Sock Monkey Blocks.  Here's what I did with the digi:

Aren't those Sock Monkeys just the cutest?  I love their expressions!  They were super easy to color up, and I used Copic markers on these Sock Monkey Blocks.  I backed each block with black card stock for lots to contrast, then mounted them on a 9 x 3 1/2 card.  The sentiment is a sticker from Paper Wishes.  The chevron paper is an old paper pack from Fancy Pants that I've had around for years, but seemed a perfect match for these Sock Monkey Blocks

Head on over to the Bugaboo Stamps store to pick up this week's freebie, then do some more shopping.  There's so many great digis & rubber stamps to choose from! Then, color them up and join the challenge at Catch The Bug. Check out the Bugaboo Stamps Fan Club on Facebook, too.

Happy Halloween! -- for Great Impressions Stamps

Happy Friday, everyone!

I'm posting today for Great Impressions Stamps, and that always makes me happy.  So do these two friends!

This just brings a smile to my face! This witch rubber stamp from Great Impressions stamp is called F558 Double Trouble.  The sentiment is E811 Happy Halloween.

I colored F558 Double Trouble with Copic markers, then inked the edges with several colors of Tim Holtz distress inks.

Papers for this card are some old Halloween papers from Fancy Pants Designs.  The witches hat border is part of the collection also.

I used a variety of dies on this card.  The oval cross stitched die is from Die-namics.  The edge dies are from Hot Off the Press.

There's a challenge going on at Great Impressions Stamps.  It's always Anything Goes, but there's an inspiration board if you need a jump start.

Also, for these great stamps, and many, many more, shop the Great Impressions Stamps Store

So Sweet -- for The Cutting Cafe

I'm posting today for The Cutting Cafe.  We have a back to school theme going with the design team: pencils and apples!

I used the Apple shaped card and the Thoughts of You Circle & Straight Sentiments Printable Set to create this:

I cut the SVG file out on my Silhouette Cameo.  Papers are from the Fancy Pants Off To School 6x6 pad. The apple in the middle of the sentiment is a Pebbles dimensional sticker.  The crinkle ribbon is by 3 Girl JAM.

There are many wonderful back to school projects to be viewed in The Cutting Cafe - Be Inspired Facebook Group.  Check out The Cutting Cafe Blog on Aug 21 to see all the projects together. Leave a comment on that post, and you could win 3 sets of your choice!  YES!!
