You Were Born To Be Real -- For The East Wind

It's Tuesday, and that means there's a New Release today at The East Wind.   Today's New Release is called, Lucy Loo 'Bobbed'.

I colored Lucy Loo 'Bobbed' with Copic markers.  I used a variety of dies from Top Dog dies and one from Paper Wishes (behind the sentiment) to construct this card.  I found the sentiment  at Pixel Scrapper.  Marisa Lerin created the Confidence Word Art series, and I used one from the set.   The papers for this card are also digital.  One is from Pixel Scrapper, and the green glittered heart paper is from Decosses' Dynamite Doodles.   The foil tape is from Close To My Heart.

It's Tuesday, so that means it's New Release day at The East Wind.    Today's new release is Lucy Loo 'Drawing'.  She was so much fun!

I colored Lucy Loo 'Drawing'  with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company/Donna Downey. 

I used papers from My Mind's Eye -- the Market Street Nob Hill  12x12 Collection. The circle dies are from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The glitter trim is from Close To My Heart, as is the card base.

It's Friday, which means there's a New Release today at The East Wind.  Every Tuesday and every Friday, Unky draws something fantastic for us to color up and create with.  Yes!

One of my favorite stories growing up was Anne of Green Gables.  I immersed myself in the stories and became Anne.  Here she is -- Anne with an 'E' --

Love, love, love this image!  I'm right back reading those books again when I see this.  

I colored up Anne with an 'E' with Copic markers. She had to have red hair.  I cut the image out with an oval die.  Then used some scalloped dies to create the rest of the card -- all from Spellbinders.

The papers on this card are all digital.  The are from Polkadoodles. The wooden dots have been in my stash for a long time, and are from Theresa Collins - Nine & Co.

I colored Aurora 'Hair Heaven' with Copic markers.  The rest of the card was created using a set of Spellbinders dies.  The designer paper is from Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters Collection.  The sentiment is from Close To My Heart.  The bling is from my stash.

My Horse - My Friend -- for The East Wind

It's Tuesday, which means there's a New Release at The East Wind. Every Tuesday, every Friday -- new releases.  Today is one of those new releases that just makes me happy.  This is Aurora 'Charlie'...

I colored Aurora 'Charlie' with Copic markers.  I've colored lots of people, but that horse was a challenge! 

I used a die by Spellbinders to cut out the Aurora 'Charlie' image, but sponged the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in Old Paper before I removed it from the die.  I used a die from Simon Says Stamp to make all the pink hearts behind the image.  The red hearts were on my work desk from various projects I've been working on. Designer paper on this card is from Close To My Heart.

Charming -- for The East Wind

It's Tuesday, and that means it's New Release day at The East Wind.  Every Tuesday and Friday, a new digi is released in the Etsy Store.   Today's new release, direct from nature, is called, 'Northern Red Shafted Flicker'.  If you're not a 'birder', you may want to Google this!

I tried to use some of the colors in the Flickers I see in the woods around my house when coloring this image with Copic markers.  I also added some feathers to the tag to stay true to the bird effect.

It's Friday, and that means there's a New Release today at The East Wind.  Today's release is a particularly sweet one.  I was in need of a Get Well card, so I used Aurora'Gorogoro' with that in mind:

I colored Aurora 'Gorogoro' with copic markers, then used several Top Dog dies to cut out the image and circle die cut.  The sentiment is a stamp from Paper Wishes.  The designer papers are the Delicate Asters Collection from Heartfelt Creations.

Today's New Release is called Aurora 'Forget Me Not'.  Here's my interpretation of her:

I colored Aurora 'Forget Me Not' with Copic markers and fussy cut her.  The designer paper is from Polkadoodles.  The 'beautiful' sentiment card is part of a card kit from Simon Says Stamp.  It is a piece of acetate I was determined to use on this card.  The sequins are from Close To My Heart.  I hope you like today's New Release from The East Wind.

Big Bunny Hugs!! for The East Wind

Where I come from, and with the people I hang out with, comfort is much more important than fashion.  That's why today's New Release from The East Wind is so appealing.  Unky nailed it with her interpretation of "the hoody".  This garment is a fashion must-have here in NW Wisconsin. Bring on The East Wind's New Release -- 'Bunny Hug'!

I colored 'Bunny Hug' with Copic markers.  A die company is going out of business, and this is one of the new sets I got from them.   I used the largest heart in the die set and made it into a heart-shaped card base.  I inked the edges of the scalloped die with Tim Holtz distress ink in Wilted Violet.  Papers for this card are digital.  They are by Michele R Designs.  The sentiment was computer generated.

It's Friday, and it's New Release Day at The East Wind.  Today's image is called, "Under the Mistletoe".  It's perfect for the cat lover on your list!

I colored 'Under the Mistletoe' with Copic markers, then used several sizes of a Lifestyle Crafts circle die set to cut it out and back it.  

Backing paper, card stock, and glimmer tape is all from Close To My Heart.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Warm Winter Wishes -- for The East Wind

There are New Releases every Tuesday and Friday at The East Wind.    Twice a week -- that's an amazing amount of digital art to be releasing!  Today's new release is so beautiful!  She's called 'White Witch'.

I colored The White Witch with Copic markers.  She seems like a winter fairy or princess to me, with that wand in her hand, so I used cool, winter colors on this card.  

I used a Spellbinders oval die to cut her out.  The snowflake-shaped card is a file from the Silhouette Design Store, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo.  The silver ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  All card stock is from Close To My Heart.  The sentiment is a clear stamp by Whimsical Designs called "Snow Much Fun".

It's Friday, one of 2 New Release days every week at The East Wind.   Today's new release is Aurora - Sharing Autumn.  

I colored Aurora 'Sharing Autumn' with Copic markers.  I went with a monochromatic color scheme.  When I look out my window, everything is shades of brown now, just like this card.  

I used lots of dies on this -- squirrels and acorns by Impression Obsession, circle dies by Lifestyle Crafts, 'Autumn' sentiment by Echo Park, side step card by Sizzix.  There's also a bit of Timeless Twine on this.

It's Friday, and there are is a wonderful New Release at The East Wind.   This is Aurora 'Hibiscus'.  

I colored Aurora 'Hibiscus' with Copic markers, then used dies from Craftin' Desert Divas to cut her out and layer the image.

Papers are from Graphic 45.  The heart patterned ribbon is from Webster's Pages.  I cut out the hearts on my Cricut Explore.  The sentiment is a stamp from Close To My Heart.

I am strong. For The East Wind

I have a New Release today for The East Wind.  Last week, I made a card, and I thought it was my all-time favorite TEW image.  Then, I colored up today's image.  Now, I have a new favorite.  It's the eyes!

This new release, called 'Untitled', was colored with Copic markers.  I used Die-namics oval cutting dies to cut out 'Untitled' and the sentiment.  The sentiment was found at Pixel Scrapper.  It's word art by Marisa Lerin.  Designer papers are from My Mind's Eye -- I think (they were in my scraps).  Glimmer trim is from Close To My Heart.
