Christmas Cheer -- for DigiStamps4Joy

It's Wednesday, and we're starting a new challenge today at DigiStamps4Joy.  Our theme for the next two weeks is -- Christmas!  Perfect timing!  I've got a few more cards to make.

Here's my card for the challenge:

I used the DigiStamps4Joy digi "Christmas Wreath with Bow", and colored it with Copic markers. I added some Stickles glitter glue to the berries and bells.

I used 4 different Spellbinders dies on this card.  Papers are from Echo Park -- Home for the Holidays 6x6 pack. The glitter paper and glitter trim are from Close To My Heart.  The sentiment is also from CTMH.

Signs of Fall -- for Creative Inspirations Paint

Hello, my crafty friends.  The signs of Fall are everywhere -- cooler temperatures, falling leaves, geese flying over.  The inspiration for this card happened on the last motorcycle ride of the season (always a sad affair, putting the Harley away for the winter).  A male pheasant strutted across the road, forcing us to slow almost to a stop.  At the time, I was trying to think of an idea for my husband's birthday card.  Aha! I thought to myself, "he LOVES pheasants!"  I was also inspired by the beauty of the turning leaves on that ride.  So, I combined the two themes into one card:

 

The hardest part of the card was finding a pheasant stamp. I found this one at Digi Stamps For Joy.  I colored the stamped image with Copic Markers, then fussy cut it.  The leaves are stamped images from the Unity Sentiment Kit, "Grateful Hearts".  After stamping the images, I colored them with various Creative Inspirations Paints, then fussy cut them.  The green leaf was stamped with Close to My Heart Olive ink, then painted with Green Olive CIP.  The red leaf was stamped with CTMH Barn Red ink, then painted with CIP Rustic Red (on sale!!!). The orange leaf was stamped with CTMH Terracotta ink, then painted with CIP Raw Sienna (on sale!!).

I used Imaginisce designer paper for the background, and the wooden flag is from Unity Stamp Company. The small piece of twine is from my stash.
