It's the first Wednesday of the month, and that means it's challenge time on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Scrapy Land Store. Nearly 50 brands of dies are sold in the Scrapy Land Store, so this is easy to do!
It is officially Fall, and it has felt like Fall for quite some time where I live, so I got out some Autumn dies and fall colored papers for today's card. I love the colors of Fall!
The focal point of the card, the Autumn Wheelbarrow, is a Tutti Designs die. I love how delicate and scrolled it is when cut out! The white doily behind the Autumn Wheelbarrow is from Cheery Lynn Designs. It is called French Pastry. The pumpkins and leaves are all from the same set. They are from Yvonne Creations, and are the Fabulous Fall, Autumn Leaves. The grass is part of a large set of dies from Creative Expressions. It is called Stitched Collection - Garden Critters. There are many grass borders, if you search in the Scrapy Land store. My search provided me with 41 possibilities. The card base was cut out from a die. It is from Card Deco.
I stamped the sentiment on to the doily. It is a stamp from Joy's Life Stamps. The designer papers on this card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are the Fall Inspiration collection.
Please try to join us at Scrapy Land Challenges! Make a project with any brand die sold in the Scrapy Land Store and link up! You could be the winner of a $15 gift certificate!

Super Sweet Sunshine -- for Oddball Art
June 15! It's time for a new challenge at the Oddball Art Challenge blog! For the next month, the theme is 'Here Comes the Sun' (incorporate a sun somewhere on your project). I don't know about you, but I'm ready for some summertime sun!
Here's image #144 - I Scream Love:
I printed image #144 - I Scream Love on watercolor paper, then colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a water brush.
I cut the funky sun out on my Silhouette Cameo with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store. The dies are from Top Dog Dies. The sentiment is from Joy's Life Stamps. Teal glimmer trim is from Close To My Heart. Papers for this card are from Doodlebug Designs. I used my super hand We R Memory Keepers scalloped corner chomper on this, too.

Don't Be in Such a Flurry -- for Crafty Sentiments
Happy Tuesday! It's time for a new challenge on the Crafty Sentiments Challenge blog. Since it's -18 degrees F. here this morning, this week's theme is perfect -- "Baby, it's cold outside". Yes, it IS!
I'm not sure I'll be making any snow angels today, but I know my Golden Retriever, Sophie will. She doesn't care how cold it is. If there's snow, she's rolling. This card is in her honor.
I made this card using rubber stamp Snow Angel, found in the Crafty Sentiments Design Store. I colored Snow Angel with Copic markers, then fussy cut the image. The sentiment is from Joy's Life Stamps. The card was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo, and was found in the Silhouette Design Store. I made the snowflakes using the new Minc machine I got for Christmas -- it's great fun! Designer paper is from Fancy Pants.
I hope you join us this week for our "Baby, it's cold outside" challenge at Crafty Sentiments Challenge blog. When it's cold out, stay in -- and make cards!

Trim the Tree -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up
It's July 1st, a new month, and a new theme at The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up. We're having a DT call.
This is a great team to be on. What better way to keep up with
Christmas cards than to have them assigned each month as part of a
design team? We also get great images to work with, and fantastic
digital papers! It's a win-win-win situation! Check out the DT Call details here.
Our theme this month is "Ornaments". Many of us have the tradition of exchanging ornaments at Christmas, so why not incorporate them in a Christmas card?
The image on this card is from Robyn's Fetish, the sponsor this month at 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.
*****Please note this post has been previously published on the new blog. I am in the process of switching everything back. Thank you for your patience.*****

The image on this card is from Robyn's Fetish, the sponsor this month at 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.
I colored the "Christmas Ornaments"
image with Copic markers, then stamped a sentiment from Joy's Life
Stamps. I used a couple Spellbinders dies on this -- a circle die and
an ornament shaped die.
Designer papers on this card are all digital, and were designed by Lisa Decosse, of Decosse's Dynamite Doodles. The papers are from the 12 Days of Christmas Set -- Baubles, Sweater, and Flake Trees. The Silver Shimmer Trim is from Close To My Heart. The Dress White crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM -- the Navy Bundle.
Join us this month at The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.
You can link up any Christmas cards you like. To be eligible for the
prizes, you need to follow the ornament theme. Link up 2 Christmas cards
each month to be eligible for the monthly digital paper. Get busy!
Christmas is coming!

Enjoy the Summer -- for 3 Girl JAM
I have never seen a hedgehog in real life, but I think they are so darn cute! This little guy is no exception. He's chasing butterflies and hoping for a warm summer day!
The image is from Great Impressions Stamps. I colored it with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. The sentiment is a Joy's Life stamp, on a ribbon slide cut out using a Spellbinder die. That pretty gray crinkle ribbon holding it all together is from the L/G Bundle from 3 Girl JAM.
The card base is cut out on my Silhouette Cameo, using a cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. Papers are from Close To My Heart.
Have you joined the 3 Girl JAM Challenge yet this month? It's Anything Goes with ribbon. You have LOTS of time, but don't forget!

A Barrow of Blessings -- for Creative Inspirations Paint
Happy Friday, everyone. I hope you had a very blessed Thanksgiving. We have much to be thankful for, don't we?
I'm posting today on the Creative Inspirations Paint blog. I'm posting a project that my loyal followers may have seen before, but it hasn't been on the CIP blog before.
We spent yesterday noon having Thanksgiving dinner with my father at the assisted living facility where he lives. My father was a carpenter by trade and spent many hours taking care of his yard when he wasn't working. His yard became even more important to him after he retired. I wanted to make him a little something to have on the table that he could share with his table mates and friends. With that in mind, I found what I thought would be the perfect Thanksgiving table décor:
I had this idea for a wheelbarrow, but couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so Regina from The Cutting Café designed this for me so I could have it for today. My own personal cutting file! I was so excited! It is a wheelbarrow treat box. You'll see it better as we go along. The sentiment is a Joy's Life stamp. It is from the "It's All Fall Puns" stamp set. Now, for a view of the other side:
I used the same Joy's Life stamp set, "It's All Fall Puns" on this side of the wheelbarrow, too. The designer papers are Echo Park 6x6 Reflections Fall. The base is Close To My Heart Kraft cardstock. The leaves are CTMH Colonial White cardstock. They are a Tim Holtz die. I painted them with Creative Inspirations Paint to give them those beautiful Fall colors and shine. I used a variety of different Creative Inspirations Paints on the leaves -- Burnt Clay (on sale), Autumn Wheat, Sunshine, and Pumpkin (on sale).
Here's a little peek into the box...
And, one more view, showing you how big the box is:
My father had plenty of candy to munch on all Thanksgiving afternoon!
I hope you enjoyed one more Thanksgiving project before we rush headlong into Christmas. Hang on tight, it'll be a whirlwind month!
