Tool Box -- a New Release for All Dressed Up Stamps

Woohoo!  It's New Release showcase day at All Dressed Up Stamps! You'll find 3 new releases and lots and lots of other wonderful digital images in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.

For this month's new release, I had the pleasure of designing with Tool Box.  It's perfect for Father's Day or other masculine themed cards!

I colored Tool Box with Copic markers, then got to designing my card.  The brick background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop (no longer in business). I thought t the bricks were the perfect background for our little worker.

The sentiment is one I made up, and it is computer generated.  The die cut tools are from a Crafter's Companion set.

The design team has been hard at work creating some inspiration for you.  Please check the All Dressed Up Facebook group and the ADU Challenge blog to see what the other fantastic designers have created!

Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Dress Up-- a New Release at All Dressed Up Stamps

It's new release day at All Dressed Up Stamps! There are 3 new releases, all available in the ADU Etsy Shop.  You'll find inspiration for all 3 new releases in the ADU Facebook group and on the ADU Challenge blog

I had the pleasure of being able to create with the Halloween Dress new release.

Isn't this image darling?  I love Halloween Dress!   I colored her with a combination of Copic and Olo markers. I think Halloween Dress is all ready for the spooky holiday!

The spiderweb papers in orange and purple on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are the Spider Webs papers, printable in 8 colors.

The scalloped edge die and stitched rectangle are from Pink & Main.  The cute witch hat and Boo! sentiment are from Crafter's Companion.  The purple gems are from Taylored Expressions.

I hope you enjoy this new release as much as I do!  Remember, she's available in the ADU Etsy shop.

Daisy Fairy -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

September 1 -- can you believe it?  Fall will soon be upon us, and I'm ready for the beautiful leaves turning, blue sky days, and cooler temperatures.

September 1 -- time for a new challenge in the Facebook All Dressed Up Stamps group.  The challenge runs all month, and this month's theme is 'Make it Feminine'.  The hardest part of the whole challenge for me was picking the feminine All Dressed Up image I wanted to color.  There are so, so many darling ones in the ADU Shop!!

After much deliberation, I chose Daisy Fairy as my girly image to create with:

Isn't Daisy Fairy darling? She seems so happy! I colored her with Copic markers, then cut her out with a stitched oval die in my collection.

I cut the card base and background paper with my Silhouette.  I haven't turned it on in ages, so it needed to be used.  The pretty pink floral background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. You'll find wonderful papers, printables, and sentiments in the We Are 3 Digital Shop

I hope you can join us this month for the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook challenge. I'd love to see what you create using the 'Make it Feminine' theme!

You're the Friend, featuring new things are We Are 3 Digital Shop

Happy Easter to all those who celebrate it!  We still have a lot of snow on the ground, so it doesn't "feel" much like Easter, but certainly we will celebrate the resurrection, no matter what Mother Nature says.

We Are 3 Digital Shop recently releases some new products.  There are 2 new paper packs and a new sentiment set. I tried to showcase them on this card:

The gingham papers (both mint and pink) and the pink layered in the die cuts are from the Spring Fling papers.  The sentiment, part of the Bookmark Thoughts sentiment set, has some wonderful sentiments in the set.  It is printed on a paper from the newly released Stained Glass papers.

I used dies from Crafter's Companion to create this card  The gingham layer is inked with a Catherine Pooler ink.

Stop by We Are 3 Digital Shop to see all the wonderful goodies there.

Valentine's Girl -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Twice a  month, All Dressed Up Stamps DT members feature the new releases.  Today is one of those days.  Fun!! This month's new releases have a Valentine's feel for them, but definitely can be used for other occasions.  I made a "just because" type card with the New Releases, Valentine's Girl. Here she is!!

I colored Valentine's Girl with Copic markers, then used a set of large heart dies I have to construct the card and layer up Valentine's Girl.  The background paper is by We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is the Romantic Hearts paper. I heat embossed the sentiment, used a die from Pink & Main to cut it out, cut out another old heart die for the embellishment, and the card was done.

Visit the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group and the ADU blog for even more inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by!

Let's Party -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Here we are!  It's February, the month of love.  I've been making Valentine's Cards and have most of them that I need done.

It's February, and that means there is a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group.  The challenge starts today, February first, and goes all month.  The theme this month is Celebrations.  There are many, many images in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop that would work for this theme.  Treat yourself to something new, color it up, and join our challenge!

I used one of the images in the Dogs in Shades set to create this:

I love that adorable pooch!  And, as you can see, it doesn't take much to color her up. I colored her with Copic markers.  The sentiment is computer generated.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Muddy Paws papers.

I hope you can join us this month for the Celebrations challenge at ADU Facebook group.  I'd love to see what you create!

Little Petal -- A NR for All Dressed Up Stamps

It's that time of the month where I get to share a New Release from All Dressed Up Stamps. Wendy releases 3 new images each month.  You will find all of them in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.

This month, I had the absolute pleasure of creating with Little Petal. Isn't she sweet?

I had my watercolor markers handy, so I decided to color Little Petal up using them. I alway like the softer look of watercolors, but I'm not very proficient at it.

The background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the papers in the Summer Splash collection.

The watercolor markers and the sentiment (both stamps and die cut) are from Altenew.  The sequins are a mix from Honey Bee Stamps.

You can see the other New Releases, and the wonderful projects from the design team in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group and on the ADU challenge blog.

Daisy Fairy -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Greetings, friends!  It's June 1 already!  These months go by so fast!  June 1 means a new challenge is starting in the All Dressed Up Stamps facebook group.   Our theme this month is "Pick a color/colors".  Pick your favorites, and join in the challenge! You'll find many fantastic images in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop. The challenge starts today, and runs all month.

I chose the "colors" option for my card.  I like to combine multiple colors together when Copic coloring, instead of always using a color family.  This works particularly well for hair and flowers.  I combined both hair AND flower multiple colors here on this card:

This is Daisy Fairy.  Isn't she the sweetest?  I used shades of pink and yellow on the petals of her dress and flower in her hair (one of my favorite color combos for coloring Copics.) Another favorite combo was used on her hair.  I used shades of violet, blue violet, blue, and gray.

I found papers that matched my theme so well at We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The 2 designer papers are both from the Darcy's Garden collection.  There are 6 more beautiful papers, for a total of 8.

The sentiment was computer generated, then cut out with banner die from Hero Arts. The glitter  trim is from Close To My Heart.  The crinkle ribbon is by D.L. Art.  The oval shapes are by Spellbinders Paper Arts.

I hope you join us this month for the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook challenge, Pick a Colors/color. You'll find another challenge every month over at the ADU Challenge Blog

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Je T'aime -- for Dies R Us Challenges

Hello, hello!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Are you enjoying May?  I think it's my favorite month of the year, but it's going way too fast!  In fact, we're 1/2 way through the month already.  May 15 -- not only is it the 1/2 way point for this beautiful month, it's also time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  This month, the challenges are anything goes!  Just use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store.

I've had this set of dies for years, but have never used them.  I decided it was time!  Visiting Paris is on my bucket list, and I'd love to get there sooner than later.  We'll see.  In the meantime, I'll dream of traveling again, and make pretty cards:

This couple are enjoying the sights of Paris, while also enjoying each other's company and their very French dog.  What's more French than a French Poodle, after all? You could argue it should be a French Bulldog on the card, but a poodle die is what I have.

I made this card with dies from Crafter's Companion and Impression Obsession.  Both companies dies are available at the Dies R Us Store. The Paris dies from Crafter's Companion are part of the Parisian Collection.  They are the Je T'aime die set (couple on the bench and the poodle).  The Eiffel Tower is a die called "Purely Paris".  I used 2 products from Impression Obsession dies. The grass is 'Small Grass Border', cut twice and layered. The heart that I used for the sentiment is part of the Layered Hearts Trio die set.

I found the most appropriate papers for this card at We Are 3 Digital Shop. I used 2 papers from the Paris Cafe Collection. The sentiment is also from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is part of the Heart Love sentiments set.

I hope you can join us this next 2 weeks for the Anything Goes Challenge at Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There will be a gift certificate to the store awarded to one lucky winner, and 3 designer choice awards.

If you are one of our Canadian friends, check out the Didi Crafts Store for a great selection of crafty supplies and reasonable shipping rates.

Hello, Spring! For All Dressed Up Stamps

Ah, spring!  It's a favorite time of year for many of us!  The ice goes off the lakes, the birds return, and the temperatures supposedly warm up.  We had one of the coolest Aprils on record where I live, even experiencing a little snow a couple days ago, so I'm still waiting for the warmth.

Spring also means an abundance of flowers, and that's our theme this month for the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook challenge.  We want to see your flower creations, featuring an All Dressed Up Stamps image.  The challenge will run the whole month of May.

I used the darling Springtime image for this month's flower challenge.  It's so sweet, don't you think?

I colored Springtime with Copic markers, computer generating the sentiment.

I used a piece of digital paper from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The teal, embossed looking paper is from the Touch of Teal Collection

The floral border is a die from Crafter's Companion.  It is one of their edgeable dies. I used some 1/2 backed pearls from my collection to finish off the card.

I hope you can join us this month in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group for our monthly 'Flowers' challenge.  You'll find another challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Challenge Blog

I'd love to see your creations!

Shine with Love -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

It's February 1, and the month of love is upon us!  A new challenge begins today in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group. The themes Romance, Red, &/or Hearts. Just use an All Dressed Up Stamps image, have your project fit the theme, and you're ready to enter the challenge!

I've loved All Dressed Stamps for many years now. The digi that I used on today's card is the first ADU image that I ever acquired.  It was back in January, 2015.  My collection has grown since then, lol!

Here's my lovely Abi Ballerina...

I colored Abi Ballerina with Copic markers, using some shades of red that I don't normally use.  The stitched oval and hearts dies are from Queen & Company.

The background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Sweetheart papers.

I computer generated the sentiment and added the flowers from my stash.

I hope you visit the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group and join us for this month's Romance, Red, &/or Hearts challenge.

Poppy Love -- for Ching Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and it's my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik inspiration and challenge blog. I love my days when I get to color up and share the beautiful Ching-Chou Kuik images

The current challenge is just getting underway with the theme of "All You Need is Love." I hope you join us with your Valentine/love creations.

For my inspiration card today, I used the beautiful image, Red Poppies.  It is a black & white image that I colored with Copic markers.

After I colored Red Poppies, I fussy cut it.  I found the perfect background paper for our "All You Need is Love" challenge in the We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is from the Touch of Teal Collection.

The giant XOXO die is from Lawn Fawn.  The filigree heart is from Cheery Lynn.  They were both purchased in the Dies R Us Store

Check out the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and challenge blog often for great inspiration. For more great ideas, and another challenge, visit the CCK Facebook Group.

It's National Chocolate Cake Day, and that is certainly worth celebrating!  The Paper Shelter is using it as this week's challenge theme.  Bring on those glorious chocolate confections! For today's challenge, I used Birthday Cupcake.  It's a chocolate cupcake, of course!

I colored Birthday Cupcake with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.  I created the stepper card using a deform Sizzix. The gingham and dotted papers are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. I used both Gingham Pastel and Dotted Swiss. The twine is by Tonic Studios.  I also used some Nuvo Drops to finish off the card.

I hope you join in on our Chocolate Cake Challenge this week at The Paper Shelter Challenge. I think I might be craving cake all week!

Winter Warmth -- For Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and it's my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog. If you haven't entered the January challenge yet, there still plenty of time.  The theme is "New".

I used the beautiful Ching-Chou Kuik digital image, Winter Warmth today.

I colored Winter Warmth with Copic markers.  To fit the "new" theme, I used a new set of dies to create the card from Crafter's Companion. The sentiment is also from Crafter's Companion, but has been used before.

The background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It's one of the new Salvaged Textures papers

New Year's Resolution -- Whatever the Weather, Enjoy it!

Happy 2022, my blog friends!  I really don't make new year's resolutions, but it seems like a good idea to try to be more like my dog this year.  No matter what the weather is, he just enjoys it!  Since he and I are outdoors for hours everyday, I might as well adapt his philosophy!  As my boy Winter would say, "Whatever the weather, whatever!"

Today isn't just the start of a new year, it's also the start of a new month, which means it's the start of a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  Challenges will be a little different this year.  Every other month, they will be Anything Goes, and then the next month, there will be a theme.  We're starting out the year with a month of Anything goes to ease us into the changes.

Snowmen have the right idea about winter -- just enjoy the snow while it lasts.  So, to go along with my new philosophy, I created a snowman card for today's challenge....

I started by inking my background with Distress Oxide inks in Victorian Velvet, Villainous Potion, Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Spun Sugar, and Kitsch Flamingo. Then, I constructed the snowman.  It is a die set by Karen Burniston. Then, I created the snowbanks, using Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside border dies. The inked background and pink layer were cut out with Memory Box Wrapped Stitched Rectangles.  The "Let it Snow" sentiment is by Crafter's Companion

The pretty snowflake paper on the base of the card is by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the Winter papers

I added some snowflakes on my inked background with a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen. I used a Viva Decor Anthracite Pearl Pen on the eyes and mouth. I piece of ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon tied like a scarf finishes off the the card.

I hope you join in on our Anything Goes challenge at Dies R Us Challenges. It will run for 2 weeks.  I'd love to see what you create!

Holly Fairy -- For Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and it's my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge & Inspiration Blog.  Every Tuesday, I'm lucky enough tote able to color up one of these wonderful images!

Today, I worked with the delightful Holly Fairy.  She's part of a set of 4 Christmas Digital images

I colored Holly Fairy with Copic markers.  The gorgeous dies on this card are by Anna Griffin.  It's kind of hard to see the background paper, but it's by We Are 3 Digital Shop, and is from the Fairy Holiday Collection. The sentiment was computer generated and cut out with a die from Tonic Studios.

Christmas is almost upon us!  I hope you are ready, and I hope you enjoy your holidays!

A Christmas Tree -- For Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and this is my day to post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  We've recently started a new challenge with the theme of "Tis the Season, or Christmas, or Winter".  I hope you can join us!

For today's inspiration card, I'm using the delightful digital image, A Christmas Tree, colored with Copic markers.

After coloring the image, I fussy cut her, then use a set of dies from Queen & Company to construct the card.  The sentiment is a die from Crafter's Companion.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Fairy Holiday papers

Some sequins and twine from my stash finished off the card.

I hope you visit the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Blog often to see the talent there.  Then, also check out the CCK Facebook group for another challenge and even more inspiration.

One lucky winner will get a gift certificate to the We Are 3 Shop! The theme for the current challenge is Winter.  It will run for a month.

I used papers from Winter Serenity (love the watercolor look of these!), one of the printables from Wonderland (there are 4 printables in this set), and a sentiment from the Warm Wishes Sentiment Set.  How fun to have a winter birthday sentiment!!  This is going to my brother.  He has a January birthday.

From Our Gnomes to Yours -- and SheepSki Designs Challenges

It's the first of the month, and a new challenge starts today at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is "Embellish It". The challenge runs for the month of December.

I have been wanting to color up the awesome Garden Party image, so took advantage of today's challenge to do just that!

I wanted to make the Garden Party image look like Christmas, so I used my Copic markers and colored it with Christmas colors.

That awesome red checked paper helped with the festive feel, too.   It's from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the papers in the Winter Plaid Collection

I computer generated the sentiment and cut it out and backed it with a die from Queen & Company.  The snowflake dies are by Frantic Stamper and Lawn Fawn.

I hope you can join us for our "Embellish It" Challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. I'd love to see what you create, and you could win some of Andrea's awesome images -- like this one!
