Misty Reflections -- for Ching Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and I'm posting today for the Ching Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog. I love my Tuesdays!  These images are so much fun!  Our October challenge still has lots of time for you to link up, with the theme of Boo-tiful Halloween (or pumpkins or Halloween colors).

For my inspiration card today, I used the luscious image, Misty Refections, colored with Copic  markers.

I used various circle dies,  and papers from AMB Illustrations.  The sentiment is from a stamp company no longer in business, and cut out with a die from Tonic Studios.

I hope you check the CCK blog frequently for great inspiration!

Be Happy With What You Have -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Friday, and that means Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! Every Friday, there is a new freebie, given to you, the Bugaboo Stamps faithful followers for a week.  Then, next Friday, there will be another Freebie!

Today's freebie is Violet Can.  It is perfect for all your springtime projects and even Easter!

I colored Violet Can with mostly Copic markers, but used a couple Spectrum Noir Triblend brush markers on the checks on the can.

I thought this Violet Can would lend itself well to an easel card, so made this into a circle easel card.  The tone-on-tone checked paper is from AMB Illustrations.  The sentiment is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the You Know Sentiments. There are 4 in the set.

Check out what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designers have made with today's freebie over at Catch the Bug Blog. Then, come back tomorrow for the start of a new challenge.  You can always use your freebie to enter the challenge!

Snowing Beauty -- for Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Monday, and this is my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge and Inspiration Blog.  Since this is the first Monday of the month, I'm also going to talk about this month's challenge.  The challenge theme for December is "Happy"!  Happy Christmas, Happy Birthday, or Just Because.  Your choice!  We'd just like you to join the challenge at Ching-Chou Kuik!

For this month, I chose the Happy Christmas theme.  I'm working on sending my Christmas cards out as I write this, and I always seem to need another one or 2, so thought I'd use this lovely Snowflake Imprint image to create this:

I colored Snowflake Imprint with Copic markers, then used circle dies from Lifestyle Crafts to  cut her out and create the circle shaped card.

The foil accented snowflake paper is from Crafter's Companion.  The snowflakes, sentiment, and die it is stamped on are also from Crafter's Companion.

There is wonderful inspiration everyday on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge Blog.  I hope you check out all the talent there for more ideas and inspiration. Speaking of inspiration, visit the CCK Facebook group, for even more!

Candy Corn Boo! For Bugaboo Stamps

It's Humor Me Wednesday over at Catch the Bug for Bugaboo Stamps. Every Wednesday, the obscure, usually humorous, always worth celebrating holidays are observed.  For instance, did you know that tomorrow is Candy Corn Day?  I know that's a day worth celebrating!

I used Chubby Ghost - Candy Corn on this card.  I colored Chubby Ghost - Candy Corn with Copic markers, then fussy cut him out.

I created the rocking card by cutting out the largest circle die I own (6 inches), and folding it in 1/2.  Then, using a piece of Halloween candy paper from Close To My Heart, and a circle die a slight bit smaller, I created the next layer.  The 'Boo!' sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios.  It's been my go-to Halloween die this season.

Candy Corn day!  I hope you celebrate it!  Check out what else we're celebrating over at Catch the Bug Blog. And, by all means, treat yourself to some shopping at Bugaboo Stamps

Our sponsor for the current challenge is Fred She Said. I was provided with this darling Rosey with Flower:

I colored Rosey with Flowers with Copic markers, working hard to add some texture to the fur.

The fun dog papers are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are 3 of the Muddy Paws papers. The sentiment is from a retired acrylic stamp set.

Fall Colors Challenge -- at The Outlawz Paper ala Mode

It's Saturday, and every other Saturday, a new challenge starts at the Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode.  The theme for the next 2 weeks is Fall Colors.

It's hard to believe we're heading towards fall already isn't it? But here in the Northwoods, there are already signs...

Our sponsor at Paper ala Mode challenges all year long is We Are 3 Digital Shop.  We are so blessed!  The papers are the cute digital image are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop Etsy Shop. That cute bird is the Hearts and Home Digital image. I colored it with Copic markers, but it also comes in a pre-colored version.  The 2 fun papers I used here are part of the Thankful paper collection

I used the largest circle die I own.  I believe it's about a 6 inch circle, used my scoreboard to score it down the middle, and voila!  I had a rocking card.  I added the couple smaller circles and some colored leaves die cut from Crafter's Companion dies to complete the card.

I hope you can join us the next 2 weeks at The Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode for our Fall Colors Challenge.  I'd love to see what you create!

Foxicorn Magic -- for Colour Crazy Challenge Blog

It's Friday, and there's a new challenge underway at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog.  Every Friday it happens, and every Friday we have a wonderful sponsor for the week.  This week, was a new company -- for me at least -- Knitty Kitty Digis.

I've never seen a Foxicorn, but if I believe in fairies, mermaids, and leprechauns, why not a foxicorn?

I colored Foxicorn with Copic markers, then fussy cut him/her out to fit on that circle of rainbow paper by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It, and the blue dots, are from the Rainbow Skies Collection. I made the rocking card by cutting out the largest circle die I had and scoring it in half.  The sentiment was computer generated.

I hope you can join us this week at Colour Crazy Challenges.  Challenges are Anything Goes as long as you color your project with whatever medium you choose. We have awesome sponsors -- like Knitty Kitty!

Dog Hair is my Glitter --for Paper ala Mode Challenges

It's Saturday, and it 's time for a new challenge at The Outlawz. On Saturday's the challenges are the Paper ala Mode challenges, and all year long they are sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop. Every challenge a $6 code will be given for the We Are 3 Store! The theme that begins today and runs for the next 2 weeks is "Pets are People too".

In our house, the dog is the boss.  All life centers around the spoiled Golden Retriever named Winter.  Here's one of my favorite pictures of my boy:

So, in sticking with the theme of the challenge, Pets are People too, of course I used a dog, and a sentiment with a dog theme.  What do you think?

This card uses all We Are 3 Digital Shop products. The image, colored with Copic markers, is Puppy Dog.  It comes with a pre-colored version also.  The papers are from the Watercolor Delight papers.  I used 3 of the papers on this card. The sentiment is one of the 4 sentiments that come in the Dog Sentiments set.

I love making pet projects, and I hope you do, too.  Join us these next 2 weeks for the Pets are People too challenge at the Outlawz Paper ala Mode

Hoppy Easter Card for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog

Today is my last day posting on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.  I have so enjoyed my time on the team, but my term is up, and it's time for someone else to have a chance at this awesome team. I have really enjoyed it!

Since we're closing in on Easter, I thought I'd showcase an adorable Bunny die today, found in the Dies R Us Store. This is Floral Bunny by Tutti Designs:

I think this floral bunny design is so darn cute!

Here's a photo of all the supplies used on this card:

I started by cutting out the card base.  This is a floral card panel by Spellbinders, but this one by Nellie's Choice would work equally as well. I used a circle die that was just a bit bigger than the Floral Bunny.  This one has been in my stash for many years.  Dies R Us has many circle dies. This set of Never-ending Circle Dies From Kat Scrappiness would work especially well!

Here's a picture of everything once it's all die cut.  I cut a bit off of the circle, just to add a little character.

Once everything was die cut, I assembled it all using ScrapPerfect Best Glue Ever, added gems to both the floral card front and the floral bunny, and finished it all with a yellow ribbon.

I'll leave you with one last view of the Bunny card:

Don't forget to shop both the Dies R Us Store and the Didi Crafts Store for tons of awesome dies and other great products.  Dies R Us now ships to Canada, too! Also, don't forget about the Dies R Us Challenges on the 1st and 15th of each month.  There are great prizes you could win! Check out this blog everyday for great inspiration!

Last Minute Christmas Cards -- for We Are 3 Digital Shop

Are you in need of a few last minute Christmas cards, but you'd like them to be homemade?  We Are 3 Digital Shop to the rescue!  We Are 3 Digital Shop not only has beautiful papers, but they have wonderful printable, that can be sized, printed, cut, and placed on your card for a very easy (nearly instant) card.  Like this!

and like this:

Both these cards use the Christmas Fun Printables (there are 4 of them on the set) and the Christmas Fun Papers.  I have used 2 of the 8 in the set.  All of the papers have wonderful, small patterns, perfect for card making.

I used a set of well used circle dies from Lifestyle Crafts, some silver foil paper to back the two on the bottom card, and an ornament hanger from Spellbinders, also on the 2nd card.  All solid colored card stock is from Close To My Heart.

These cards were easy peasy to make.  It will take me longer to write the Christmas messages than it did to make the cards!

Take a look around at the We Are 3 Digital Shop!  You'll be glad you did!

Best Witches -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Thursday, and that's Oldie but Goodie day on the Catch the Bug Blog, featuring Bugaboo Stamps.  Every Thursday, some older, but well loved digis are featured.

I've been looking for "cute, not spooky" Halloween themed digis to make into cards for the nursing home residents where I volunteer.  I found just what I was looking for in the Bugaboo Stamps Store!

This card uses one of the tags in the Halloween Tag Set 01.  There are 3 tags altogether in this set.

I colored up the cute cat tag with a bit of Copic marker coloring.  It didn't take much!  Then, I used 2 different sized Lifestyle Crafts circle dies to cut out the circle and back it with the orange patterned paper.   The black glitter paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is from the Halloween paper set

The fun Halloween garland is a die from Cottage Cutz.  I cut it out with some purple foil paper I found in my stash.

I hope you check out to see what other Bugaboo Stamps designers made for Oldie but Goodie Thursday over at Catch the Bug

Happy Pumpkin Season -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Monday, and that's "Anything But a Card" day on the Catch the Bug Blog.  I'm starting to think ahead to Halloween, and know I'll need a few treat bags and boxes, so I created a treat bag for today's Anything But a Card post at Catch the Bug:

This treat bag is 5x7, and holds these 3 pieces of my favorite chocolate perfectly!  I wonder if it will last until Halloween?  Hmmm.

I used Bugaboo Stamps digi Pumpkin Season Tag (only $1.00!) on this gift bag.  I colored Pumpkin Season Tag with Copic markers, then used a couple or circle dies from Lifestyle Crafts to cut it out and back it. I then used a scalloped stitched edger die to add the trim.  Once the chocolates are safely in the treat bag, I will turn the top down several times and probably staple it.  That should keep me out of it!

Relax! & Enjoy -- for Di's Digi Designs Challenges

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  Every other Saturday, a new challenge gets underway. For the next 2 weeks, the theme is 'Circles'.  Interpret that any way you want, as long as there are circles somewhere on your project.

Di Carubia has the cutest images!  You can find a great variety in her shop, Di's Digi Stamps.  Pick something out, either color it up or but pre-colored, and join in on our challenge!

I used the adorable Henry's Hazy Days to create this for the circle challenge:

I colored Henry's Hazy Days with Copic markers, then used a variety of circle dies to create the card.  The circle dies are from Lifestyle Crafts.  The card base is from Tattered Lace dies.

The designer papers on this card are digital.  They are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The outside circle (not card base) is from the Color Burst paper collection. The inner circle (next to the colored image) is from the Tea Time Collection.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Circles -- it's an easy theme, so I truly hope you join us the next 2 weeks at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  Di has the cutest images to win as prizes, and I'd love to see what you create!

Gingerbread Christmas -- for the 12 Months of Christmas

June 1, and I'm slowly getting some Christmas cards made.  June 1 means it's time for another link up at the 12 Months of Christmas.  This month, the alternate theme is "Gingerbread", but you can always link up anything Christmas.   Our wonderful sponsor this month is Beccy's Place.

I used the gingerbread house, and 2 of the words from the Gingerbread Digital Stamps set to create this:

I printed the Gingerbread house on kraft paper, then colored the Gingerbread house with Faber Castell polychromos pencils.  The sentiments, also from the Gingerbread Digital Stamps set, have a sparkly pen added for accent, but it's hard to see in the picture.

Decosse's Dynamite Doodles sponsors the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up each month with a set of Christmas papers.  I used 2 of her papers on this card.  They were both from her annual 12 Days of Christmas celebration.  These are from 2015.  To be eligible to get her papers this month, link up 2 Christmas cards.

I hope you join us this month as the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  To be eligible for the wonderful prize from our sponsor, Beccy's Place, link up a card with the gingerbread theme.

Christmas Candle-- for SheepSki Designs

Old or New --that's the theme at the SheepSki Designs Challenge blog for January 2019.  Great theme for a new year, don't you think?  You can either enter a favorite card using a SheepSki Designs image that you've enjoyed making from the past, or create something new.

I've always loved Andrea North's Christmas Candle image, and needed to color it up for another challenge today, so I decide to use it for today's challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  So, it's the "new" theme for me with Christmas Candle:

I colored Christmas Candle with Copic markers, then cut it out and backed using a couple Lifestyle Crafts circle dies.

The card base was cut out with my Silhouette Cameo 3 with an SVG file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  It can also be found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The poinsettia background paper is from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The red shimmer trim is from Close To My Heart.

I hope you find time to join us this month at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  Now that the holidays are over, maybe things will slow down?  Well, maybe not! But take time for yourself anyway!

Too Cute to Spook -- for Di's Digi Designs Challenge

Pumpkins!  I love to eat them (in pie)  I love to drink them (in lattes), I love to decorate with them, and I really love to color them!  So, the challenge this time at Di's Digi Designs Challenge -- include a pumpkin -- is especially fun for me!

Di's Digis has the absolute cutest images, and you can find any number of them with pumpkins in them in her store.  This card is made using Pumpkin Fun (on sale!):

I colored Pumpkin Fun with Copic markers, and it was FUN to color.  The stamp is named correctly!

That fun spider web paper on this card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of this month's new releases, Web Works. The sentiment, also from We Are 3, is one of the Halloween Sentiments

The card base was cut out with a die from Sizzix.  The circle dies is a collection from Lifestyle crafts.  A bit of Timeless Twine finished the card.

The 'Include a Pumpkin' challenge at Di's Digi Designs runs for 2 weeks, or until October 19.  I hope you can join us!

Happy Holidays -- Sketch Challenge at Catch the Bug

I've been trying to play along all week over at Catch The Bug for their Christmas in July week.  I was lucky enough to win a challenge there last week, and I'm using the prizes I won to participate this week.  It's been great fun!

Today's card is for Sunday's Sketch challenge.  My card uses Snowflake Snowman:

Here's the sketch I used:

I colored up Snowflake Snowman with Copic markers, then used a circle die to cut it out. I cut out a slightly larger circle die with black card stock.  I love how black makes images pop.  The designer papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are Loving Winter Digital Papers and Christmas Magic Digital papers.

Five months from today is Christmas.  I better get cranking on my cards!

Heartfelt Thanks -- New Release time at We Are 3

It's time for another New Release card for We Are 3 Digital Shop.   At the Beach, is the theme. Today, I'm featuring another portion of this month's new release, Sea Holly:

I used the pre-printed version of Sea Holly, then added a Wink of Stella pen to add some shimmer to the flowers (sorry, it's hard to photograph).  I've also used three of the new At the Beach digital papers (there are 8 in the pack), and the new Wishing You digital sentiments.

I used a couple of dies to make this card -- 2 Spellbinders label dies, and 2 Lifestyle crafts circle dies.  The card stock base is from Close to My Heart.

I hope you enjoy these New Releases and pick them up at the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  Take a look around -- there are so many great things to shop for while you are there!  There's also a We Are 3 Facebook Group to check out that's jam-packed with great inspiration!

Simple Joys -- for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

Hello, fellow crafters!  Thank you for visiting my blog today!  I am posting for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  Patricia has a great mix of clear acrylic stamps, digital stamps, digital papers, Zazzle files, some freebies, and some printable stamps and cards.  There's something for everyone in the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Store

I have an adorable butterfly with Flower to share with you today:

I colored the Butterfly with Flower with Copic markers.  I think that flower is working like an umbrella, keeping the sun an rain off of the butterfly.  Smart!

The card base, with it's spray of butterflies across it, was found in the Silhouette Design Store, and cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.  The Simple Joys sentiment is a sticker from Paper Wishes.   The circle dies behind the Butterfly with Flower are from Lifestyle Crafts and Craftin' Desert Divas.

Here's a close up of the Butterfly with Flower image:

I hope you check out the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez store, where you'll find all those goodies I talked about earlier.   It's worth a snoop around for sure!  Check out her Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez blog, where many of her images are featured by herself and the design team.  You won't be disappointed! You'll find the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Facebook Group here, and there's a monthly Anything Goes challenge we'd love to have you participate in!
