I Thank God for You -- and the Path of Positivity Challenge blog

It's time for some mid-month inspiration over on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog, where the optional theme this month is 'Pastel colors'.  This month, we are sponsored by Sparkle N Sprinkle

I used the awesome Nasturtium #1 digi stamp to create this for the mid-challenge inspiration:

I'm not all that great with flowers, so I honestly don't know what Nasturtiums usually look like, so that gave me the liberty of coloring Nasturtium #1 any color I wanted.  Since our optional theme is 'pastel', I chose some pastel violets for my nasturtiums, and colored them with Copic markers.   The sentiment is part of the Nasturtium #1 digital stamp set.  I love pastel colors, especially in the spring, and I tend to gravitate towards shades of pink and lavender.

I hardly ever have a chance to use this long, skinny oval die by Spellbinders, but I used it on both the challenges this month for Path of Positivity.  Awesome!  The sentiment die and backing die are from Spellbinders Paper Arts.  The pretty background die is from Lawn Fawn.   The butterfly die is from Tattered Lace.

I hope you have a chance to link up something at The Path of Positivity yet this month.  Our challenge runs until May 6, so there's still plenty of time!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Elliebelle's Crafty Wednesday -- Say it with Flowers
D.L. Art -- April Linky Party
IDCB -- ATG
Paper Crafter's #11 party at Ellie Belle's -- ATG

For My Friend -- and DigiStamps4Joy

DigiStamps4Joy has a month-long challenge, and it's time for some mid-month inspiration.  The challenges are anything goes, but there's an optional theme, if you'd like to play along.  This month's optional theme is, "favorite color combination".  Here's what I created for the challenge:

This card uses DigiStamps4Joy digital stamp Diamond Beauties (JA2).  I colored Diamond Beauties with Copic markers, then fussy cut the image.

When I was thinking of 'favorite color combination', I thought Copics.  The very first Copics I ever purchased were R81, R83, and R85.   They are still my go-to pink color combination, and I used them on the flowers on the Diamond Beauties, with the addition of R89.  I love pink and blue together, so I looked for a paper that would have both, and would look good with the image.   I found it on a DVD full of printables from Tattered Lace.  The gold label behind Diamond Beauties is a Spellbinders die and uses a gold paper from Spellbinders Paper Arts.  The black ribbon and raspberry card stock card base are from Close To My Heart.

I hope you can join us at DigiStamps4Joy for our optional "Favorite Color Combinations" challenge, or link up anything you'd like.  I'd absolutely love to see what you make, and we've got fantastic digis that you can win for prizes!  There's still plenty of time to join in the fun!
