Make Your Mark -- for The East Wind

It's Tuesday, so that means it's New Release day at The East Wind.    Today's new release is Lucy Loo 'Drawing'.  She was so much fun!

I colored Lucy Loo 'Drawing'  with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company/Donna Downey.

I used papers from My Mind's Eye -- the Market Street Nob Hill  12x12 Collection. The circle dies are from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The glitter trim is from Close To My Heart, as is the card base.

For more inspiration, and to see what other design team members did with this fantastic new release, join our The East Wind Facebook Group.  Please follow me on Instagram, too.

Follow Your Passion -- for Fitztown

It's Thursday, and the 5th of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at Fitztown Challenge Blog. This month, since it's March, we want to see some "Green" on those projects.
Here's my green-themed card, using a Ballerina digi from the Fitztown Etsy Store:
I colored the image with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company.  It is a Donna Downey set called "Art & Possibility."
Once the Ballerina was colored, I cut the image out with a Spellbinders die.  Leaving it in the die, I used several shades of Tim Holtz distress ink to ink the edges.  The half circle heart die is from Memory Box. Designer papers for this card are from Crate Paper Style Board 6x6 paper pad.
I hope you join in this month at Fitztown for our "Green" challenge.  I'd love to see what you make!

Be Bold! for The East Wind

It's Friday, and there is a new release at The East Wind.  Unky LeStrange draws the most fantastic images!  I am challenged to the limits of my abilities and beyond every time I tackle one of these, but I feel like I grow each time.  Today, I present to you, Lucy Loo 'Lucy':

I colored Lucy Loo 'Lucy' with Copic markers, then used 2 sizes of Spellbinders dis to cut her out.  She is mounted on Close To My Heart papers from the Paper Fundamentals collection. The sentiment is a Unity Stamp Co., /Donna Downey stamp, "Art & Possibility".  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The beautiful olive green twine is, of course, Timeless Twine.
Check out TheEastWind Facebook group for more inspiration on this fantastic new release, and, of course, The East Wind Etsy Shop for all the fantastic digis available.

Be Bold. GDT at The Outlawz

It's the weekend! I hope you are enjoying yourselves and finding some time for crafting.  I'm guest designing today at The Outlawz Challenge blog, Paper A la Mode group.  I'm representing Fitztown.  The theme this week is Animals.

This digi, found in the Fitztown store, is called Wild 7.  I colored the image with Copic markers.   The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company/Donna Downey. I used several Spellbinders dies on this card.  The papers and embellishments are all from Close To My Heart.
I would like to thank Debbie Ebat and the Paper a la Mode team of The Outlawz for this opportunity to represent Fitztown.  I had a great time guest designing for them!
