You Make Me Happy -- a New Release for All Dressed Up Stamps

It's the 22nd of the month -- one of the days that the All Dressed Up Stamps design team showcases this month's new releases.  I love any opportunity to color up these darling images! You'll find this month's new releases, and all the wonderful art of Wendy Burns in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop

This month, I had the fun of designing with Summer Fairy.  She is an absolute delight!

I colored Summer Fairy with Copic markers.  The stamp is by Crafter's Companion, and I was VERY disappointed with how it stamped! The papers on the card are digital, and are from AMB Illustrations.

You'll find more inspiration for this, and the other new releases (there are 3 this month), in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group, and on the All Dressed Up Stamps Blog. You'll also find challenges both places.  Pick up this adorable Summer Fairy, color her up, and join the challenges!

Snow Adorable -- for SheepSki Designs

It's a new month (and a new year!), and that means there's a new challenge starting over on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. The challenge will run all month, and the theme for January is - Anything Goes!

I have a friends who loves gnomes, so any chance I get, I color up a cute gnome for her.  This particular one from SheepSki Designs is cuter than cute!

This is Sno' Worries:

I colored Sno' Worries with Copic markers, then use nesting dies by Crafter's Companion to cut it out and create the card.  The sentiment is computer generated.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are 2 of the papers in the Winter Plaid paper pack.

A few snowflakes from my stash finish off the card.

I hope you join us this month at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog for our Anything Goes Challenge.  You could win great digis like this one, and I'd love to see your creations!

Love You a Ton -- a New Release at Bugaboo Stamps

Did you know there's a New Release every single Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps?  Did you know they are 1/2 price for the first week of their release? If you like them, grab them while they're a steal! (Well, digital images are a steal no matter how you look at it, but this is almost like highway robbery!)

Today's New Release is perfect for those upcoming Valentine's Day cards. This is Cute Valentine's Elephant:

I  colored up the Cute Valentine Elephant with some bright Copic markers to emphasize his cuteness.

I created the heart-shaped card base with the largest heart die I have.  I think it may be part of a Lawn Fawn set.  The inner scalloped heart is part of the same set.

I found the pretty pink heart paper at AMB Illustrations.

The sentiment is computer generated, then cut out with a heart die from my stash.  The silver heart stickers are from Paper Wishes.

And, that,  my friends, is today's darling new release at Bugaboo Stamps.  For more great inspiration, check out what the other designers have created with this Cute Valentine Elephant over on the Catch The Bug Blog.

Let It Snow! for Lavinia World Challenges

Thursday!  Less than a week 'til Christmas.  Are you ready?  Of course you're not! We never are, but we get through it year after year!  Thursday -the 3rd Thursday of the month, so it's time for a new challenge over at Lavinia World Challenges, where challenges are always Anything Goes as long as you use a rubber or acrylic stamp.  Of course, we love to see those Lavinia Stamps the best!  You can also enter your projects in the Anything Lavinia Facebook Group, but these require Lavinia Stamps &/or papers.

I wanted create something that would look as magical as the world outside my window.  We have a fresh blanket of white snow here in NW Wisconsin where I live, and very little in life is as pretty and sparkly as the sun on that fresh fallen snow.  Fresh fox tracks across my front lawn were the impetus behind today's project:

I used a Lavinia paper to begin my tag -- it is called "Silence".  It is currently out of stock, but should be back in stock soon.  They are about 3 inch by 8 inch, so it worked well to cut it into this tag shape.  Once I got the tag cut out, using a die by Paper Wishes, I thought the Fox 1 (Kernal) would work well. I stamped the Fox 1 with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. Then, to balance out the tag, I stamped the Small Fairy Fir Tree (LAV489),  stamped with VersaFine Clair ink in Shady Lane.  Then, all was left was adding a sentiment.  I used an Elizabeth Craft cutting die for the sentiment, and some retired Close To my Heart fibers to finish it off.

Lavinia World products used on this tag:

I'll leave you with one more view of my snowy scene:

Let it snow!

I hope you join us at Lavinia World Challenges &/or at Anything Lavinia, where you could win a $15 gift certificate to use in the Lavinia World Store

Ukulele Panda - for Kitty Bee Designs

I'm posting today on the Kitty Bee Designs blog, where it's my day to leave some inspiration.  I love it when I have a chance to color up the adorable pandas and other cute animals in the Kitty Bee Designs Etsy Shop.  Today, I had the pleasure of using the clear stamp, Ukulele Panda. I am a musician, so anything having to do with music strikes a chord with me (pun intended!).  That's why the Ukulele Panda is rings just the right note with me!

This uses the clear stamp, Ukulele Panda, colored with Copic markers.  It colors up very fast, and looks so cute, doesn't it?

Check this blog often for more great inspiration from the Kitty Bee Design team, and check out all of the clear stamps available in the Kitty Bee Design Etsy Shop

Summer Roses -- for Aloha Friday Challenges

It's Friday, and it's time for a little mid-challenge inspiration over on the Aloha Friday Challenge blog. This time, the theme is "Happy Summer".  The challenge goes through July 25.

I used a beautiful image from one of our sponsors, LeAnn's World 101.  This is Roses:

I colored Roses with Copic markers, then fussy cut the image. I  used a sentiment from the We Are 3 Digital Shop. This is one of the Itty Bitty Summer sentiments

The background paper is from Close To My Heart.  It looks embossed, but it comes that way -- I didn't have to do the work.  Nice!  The gold butterfly is a die from Paper Wishes.

Happy Summer -- a great theme for July!  I hope you can join us at Aloha Friday Challenges.  I'd love to see what you make, and we have great sponsors and prizes!

Get Well Panda -- for Kitty Bee Designs

I'm posting today for Kitty Bee Designs.  It's my turn to post a little inspiration there.  I just adore the cute pandas and other animals you will find in the Kitty Bee Designs Etsy Shop.

I used the adorable stamp Get Well Panda to create this Get Well Card:

I colored the Get Well Panda with Copic markers.  I used a sentiment stamp from Paper Wishes, and papers from Close To My Heart.

Check out the Kitty Bee Designs blog to see more great inspiration from the Kitty Bee Designs DT!

I'd also like to give you a chance to win some blog candy I have.  I turned 60 on July 6th, and I have over $60 of crafty supplies I'm giving away to a lucky winner.  See this post for details on how you can win it.

Just a Note Angel -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Saturday, and that means there's a challenge starting at Catch the Bug.  The theme that gets underway today is "Your Favorite Movie."  The 1st movie that popped into my head was one from childhood -- "The Sound of Music" -- so, I went with it!

Using one of the many 'Just a Note' digis found in the Bugaboo Store, (this is Just a Note 7), I created this for today's challenge at Catch the Bug:

I colored Just a Note 7 with Copic markers.   There wasn't a lot to color, so it went pretty fast.  Isn't that angel dangling from the end of the note adorable?  Maybe my favorite movie should have been "The Littlest Angel"!  That would have worked, too!

Designer papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The pin/purple linen looking paper with the scalloped edge is from the Coneflower Love papers.  The music note paper is from the Just a Song paper collection.  The gold music score die cut is a Spellbinders die.  The sentiment is a stamp from Paper Wishes.

Your favorite movie.  If you're a movie goer, this should be easy for you.  Create a project around that movie, then enter it in the challenge this week at Catch the Bug.  I'd love to see your creation!

I'd also like to give you a chance to win some blog candy I have.  I turned 60 on July 6th, and I have over $60 of crafty supplies I'm giving away to a lucky winner.  See this post for details on how you can win it.

Happy Birthday to Me -- Blog Candy for YOU!

It's July 6, and today is my 60th birthday.  When I was diagnosed with stage 4B non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at age 57, and given about a 15% chance of surviving, I never thought I'd see 58.  Now, I'm celebrating 60!  Every day is a gift, every year a cause for great celebration.   I have more than enough crafty supplies, so I want to share the wealth with you, my blog followers.  More on that in a bit.

Today, there is a new challenge starting at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.  It's an Anything Goes challenge, so you can link up absolutely anything you want this week.  Bugaboo Stamps has such a wonderful variety of images that you're bound to find something you can color up.  There's always yesterday's freebie.  Have you grabbed it yet?  Or Tuesday's wonderful New Release?  She's 1/2 off this week.

Since today is my birthday, I made a birthday card for today's Anything Goes Catch the Bug Challenge.  I used this Happy Birthday Chickie image to create this:

I colored the Happy Birthday Chickie with Copic markers, then used this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches to create the card.  Here's the sketch:

I used scalloped and stitched dies from Spellbinders to cut out the image and the papers.  Papers have been in my stash forever.  They are the Soiree collection from Pink Paislee.  Are they even still in business? The twine is from the same collection.  The balloon is a die from Paper Wishes.  The sentiment is a stamp from them, too.

Now, for the blog candy.  Please follow my blog.  For the month of July, if you comment on this post, you will be eligible.  Leave me a way to contact you.  I have over $60 of crafty goodies to send to a US winner.  I will use random.org to choose my winner.  If the winner is from elsewhere in the world, they will be able to pick a $15 gift certificate from an online store of their choice.

Blog candy -- Spellbinders dies, a Memory Box die, Close To My Heart stamps, Cricut vinyl and iron-on, Basic Grey 12x12 papers, 3 6x6 paper pads, bling and ribbons

So, that's it for this post!  Follow my blog, leave a comment, then head over to the Catch the Bug blog for the Anything Goes Challenge.  Ready, Set, party!

For My Friend -- and Di's Digi Designs Challenges

It's been two weeks already, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  For the next 2 weeks, the theme is 'Anything But a Card'.  I'm primarily a card maker, but it's always good to shake it up a bit and make something different.  For this challenge, I made a gift tag using Daffodil Delivery

I colored up Daffodil Delivery with Copic markers.  I'm anxiously waiting for Daffodils to bloom where I live, and it should be soon!

Papers on this gift tag are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The blue paper is from the Spring Butterflies Too collection, and the paper the sentiment is on is from the Floral Expressions collection

Friends Furever -- for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

I love dogs, as you know if you visit here very often.  Dogs are my passion!  Golden Retrievers are my breed of choice, but I love dogs of any breed.  Today, I'm sharing a dog themed card, and I couldn't be more excited!  This image is from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  It's entitled, Happy Dog!

I colored Happy Dog with Copic markers.  He does look happy, doesn't he?  The sentiment is from an acrylic set I've had for a long time from a company no longer in business.  I cut the heart border out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store. The pink checkered paper is from AMB Illustrations.  The ribbon, also in my stash for a long, long time, is, I believe, from Paper Wishes.

Speaking of happy dogs, here's my dog, Winter.  Isn't he beautiful?

He loves the snow!  He's almost 9 months old now and a bundle of energy.

Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez has a wonderful store with acrylic stamps, digital stamps, digital papers, handmade cards for purchase, a Zazzle shop, and more.  It is well worth a cyber trip there to check it out!  There's also a Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Facebook Group, with a monthly challenge to check out, and the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Blog where you can get up close and personal with this wonderful artwork!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope we'll be friends furever!

Woof! Means I Love You! for Bugaboo Stamps

Monday!  It's not that bad a day when you're retired, and it's a fun day at Bugaboo Stamps!  We celebrate with Anything But a Card on the Catch the Bug Blog

It's almost Valentine's Day (I'm guessing this hasn't gotten past you!)  My Golden Retriever, Winter, has been hard at work making his gift for my husband, Shaun.  This tag will be attached to it. It uses the Bugaboo Stamps digi, Valentine Pup (from the Valentine Pup Set):

I colored up the Valentine Pup with Copic markers.  The sentiment was computer generated, including using some dingbats on the paw prints.

I used a variety of cutting dies on this card from Paper Wishes.  The papers are from AMB Illustrations.  There's a bit of Timeless Twine, and a brad from my stash.

You may be wondering what awesome gift Winter has for his 2-legged dad for Valentine's Day.  This tag will be attached to a bag of Winter's favorite dog treats.  It's always all about Winter, right?

Here's what I made using the free digi, Cheese & Wine:

I colored Cheese & Wine with Copic markers.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Paper Wishes.

Smile! for SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog

It's September 1st, and that means it's the start of a new challenge at Sheep Ski Designs Challenge Blog. This month, the theme is "For the Kidz"

Andrea has more and more images all the time, and some of them lend themselves beautifully to this kids theme, so do some shopping in her Etsy Store, then color up a digi, and join the challenge!

I used Fuzzy (image #9) to create this:

I colored Fuzzy with Copic markers, then used some tear edged dies to cut it out.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Shabby Glam Collection. The pink ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The "smile" sentiment was stamped on the paper, and is from Paper Wishes.

The SheepSki Designs Challenge will run the whole month of September, so you have all month to design your "For the Kidz" entry.  Please join us!  Check out the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group, too.  There's another challenge there you won't want to miss!

With Love -- for DigiStamps4Joy Challenge

September 1, and my blog is a busy place! I'm the hostess this month at DigiStamps4Joy's challenge, so instead of posting on the 15th like I usually do, I'm posting at the start of the challenge (today).  I got to pick the optional theme, and since I'm such a lover of flowers, and find them such a delight to color, the optional theme this month at DigiStamps4Joy challenge is 'Flowers'.  The challenges run for a month, are always Anything Goes, but there is the optional theme, with this month being 'Flowers'.

There are lots of great flower images in the DigiStamps4Joy shop, which is another reason why I chose this theme.  Here's one I particularly like because it can be colored so many different ways:

This is Flower Spray jl885, colored with Copic markers. Flower Spray is also available in a pre-colored version.

Papers for this card are the Summer Butterflies collection from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The sentiment is a sticker from Paper Wishes.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I so hope you can join us this month at DigiStamps4Joy, where the Anything Goes Challenge has the optional theme of Flowers.  I'd really like to see your fantastic creations, and we've got great digis you can win -- like this one!

Sock Monkeys! For Bugaboo Stamps

Do you remember sock monkey?  Talk about taking me back to childhood!

Today's Friday Freebie at Bugaboo Stamps, is Sock Monkey Blocks.  Here's what I did with the digi:

Aren't those Sock Monkeys just the cutest?  I love their expressions!  They were super easy to color up, and I used Copic markers on these Sock Monkey Blocks.  I backed each block with black card stock for lots to contrast, then mounted them on a 9 x 3 1/2 card.  The sentiment is a sticker from Paper Wishes.  The chevron paper is an old paper pack from Fancy Pants that I've had around for years, but seemed a perfect match for these Sock Monkey Blocks

Head on over to the Bugaboo Stamps store to pick up this week's freebie, then do some more shopping.  There's so many great digis & rubber stamps to choose from! Then, color them up and join the challenge at Catch The Bug. Check out the Bugaboo Stamps Fan Club on Facebook, too.

Pineapple Panda Hello -- for Kitty Bee Designs

I'm on the Kitty Bee Designs blog today, for my designer spotlight.    I am sharing an adorable panda called Pineapple Panda II:

I colored the Pineapple Panda II twice, fussy cut it once, and mounted one on top of the other for depth.  I found some tropical colored papers to bring out the colors of the pineapple in the panda.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3.  They are the Tropical Delights digital papers and the Tropical Snapshots transparent windows.

There are so many cute pandas and other adorable images in the Kitty Bee Designs Etsy shop.  Make sure and check it out here.

Dog Love -- a New Release at We Are 3 Digital Shop

Dog Love.  Even the name of the New Release from We Are 3 is enough to make me know it's gonna be good!  Anything to do with dogs, and I'm more than likely going to love it!  This month's new release from We Are 3 Digital Shop, Dog Love, is named appropriately!

Today, I have a 3D project to share with you, using the new Dog Love papers.

Here's view 1 of the treat bag:

I printed the papers as large as I could get them on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper (so, slightly larger than 8x8).  I used a Lawn Fawn treat bag die and 2 pieces of the Dog Love bone treat paper to create the bag itself.  Then, I printed a piece of the Pup with Hat paper, printing this piece at about 4x4.  I cut out the dog from the paper, and adhered it to the bag.  All that was left was to add some decorative ribbons, and I had the perfect treat bag for a dog loving friend or family member.

Since we're talking Dog Love, I thought it would be appropriate to include a recent picture of my new puppy, Winter.  I call him the fern-minator, as he likes to destroy my ferns.

Who couldn't love that face, right?  He's 9 weeks old now and a bundle of love and energy.

Oh, Happy Day! For SheepSki Designs

There's a huge party happening in the Kit & Clowder Facebook Group.  Alyce has made it to 20,000 members.  Wow!  I've been a member for 4 years now and love the group.

Each day, a different company is helping with the celebration.  Today, it is SheepSki Designs chance to get in on the fun.   You have a chance to pick up the digi I used on this card -- for FREE!

This is Lolly Liz.  You'll find her in the Kit & Clowder Facebook Group.  Follow the rules and you can get her for yourself. You can also find her in the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group.

I colored Lolly Liz with Copic markers, then looked for some papers to match.  I found these in my stash.  I believe they are old My Mind's Eye papers, but I'm not entirely sure.  I used a cutting die from Sizzix to make the center step card.  There's some Timeless Twine and a sentiment stamp from Paper Wishes.

There's 20 days of freebies for the 20,000 member celebration at Kit & Clowder.  That's a lot of coloring fun!

Hurray for the Red, White, and Blue! for QKR Stampede

It's Friday, and near the 4th of July, so I have a patriotic pup to share with you today for the QKR Stampede Challenge blog.  The challenges are every week, and they are always Anything Goes!

I haven't talked about this on my blog yet.  It's so painful, I hate to share, but feel I must.  Last Thursday, June 21, we had our beautiful  Golden Retriever, Gracie, spayed.  She was just a year old on June 17.  She died of complications from the surgery on June 24.  It is such a loss for my husband and I.  Having no children, our pets are our 4-legged family.  She was the dog that was going to help me recuperate from cancer and be with me in retirement.  Less than a month into my retirement, she is gone.  We are deeply grieving her loss.

So, I guess today's card is in her honor -- Patriotic puppy (ES-digi33103)

I colored Patriotic Puppy with Copic markers.  The star studded background was created with a file I found at the Silhouette Design Store, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.   The multi-star ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Paper Wishes.

I hope you can join us this busy holiday week for the QKR Stampede Anything Goes challenge.  I'd love to see your creations, and we've got great digis you can win!  (like this one!)
