Let's Pawty! for Cute Card Thursday

It's the first Thursday of the month, and that means it's time for a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday. Challenges are Anything Goes, with an optional twist.  This month, the twist is Birthdays.  The challenge will run all month.

We have 3 sponsors each month, with one of those sponsors being Whimsy Stamps. I found this adorable stamp while perusing the vast selection of digital stamps...

This Dachshund Balloon is by Crissy Armstrong.  So cute, isn't it? I colored it with Copic markers. I created the rocking card to mount Dachschund Balloon on, because it seemed to need some movement.

I cut the rocking card out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store. the balloon paper and the cardstock is from Crafter's Companion.  The sentiment is from an acrylic stamp I got at Close To My Heart.

I hope you can join us this month at Cute Card Thursday.  You have all month for your anything goes projects, and Id love to see what you create!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Unicorn Swim -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Today, I'm showcasing one of the New Releases at All Dressed Up Stamps. Twice each month, the design team showcases the month's new releases to draw attention to them.  Today is one of those days. You'l find the New Releases, and all the fantastic All Dressed Up digis in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop

There are 3 new releases this month, including the adorable Unicorn Swim.  I feel cooler just looking at her splashing around!

Isn't she sweet?  I colored Unicorn Swim with Copic markers, then fussy cut the image.  I cut the rocking card base out on my Silhouette Cameo 3, with a file I found in the Silhouette Design store.  I used papers from Crafter's Companion.  The sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios.

You can see what the other design team members created with this month's new releases by visiting the All Dressed Up Facebook group, and the All Dressed Up Blog. You'll find challenges in both of those places with chances to win ADU images!  Join us!

Be Kind -- for Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and this is the day and I'm lucky enough to be able to post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge Blog.  I love coloring up these images!   A new challenge is just getting underway with a theme of Something That Flies.

For my inspirational card today, I chose the beautiful image Heart of Spring, found in the GJZCCK Etsy Shop.

I colored Heart of Spring with Copic markers.  I cut the card base out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Online Store.  The papers are retired papers from Close To My Heart.  The sentiment was computer generated.  The crinkle ribbon is from D.L. Art.

Visit the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge Blog often for amazing inspiration, and the CCK Facebook group for even more inspiration and another challenge.

A Special Gift Bag -- For Paper ala Mode

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at The Outlawz.  The Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenge, that is! Our challenges are always sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop. The theme for the next 2 weeks is Gift Bags.  Oh, I like this theme!  I always enjoy making gift bags and gift boxes!

Since my mother-in-law's birthday is next week, I took advantage of this challenge to make her a gift bag.  This bag is just the right size to hold a couple pieces of chocolate -- just the right amount for a lady who says she's watching calories, but secretly likes to munch (just like her daughter-in-law).

I cut this bag out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store. The designer paper on this bag is Watercolor Textures. I used 3 different designs from the set. The sentiment is from the For You Sentiment Set.

I cut the "For You" sentiment out on a tag by Spellbinders.  The butterfly is a die from Cheery Lynn.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you can join us this next 2 weeks at the Paper ala Mode Challenges.  I'd love to see what you create with this theme, and you could win a gift certificate to Bonnie wonderful shop!

Feminine & Fabulous -- For All Dressed Up Stamps

It's May 1 (really!) and it's time for a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group.  Challenges run all month, and have a theme.  This month's theme is Girly Girlz.  You will find more images than you can shake a stick at that fit this theme in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop! Pick your favorite(s), get it colored up, and join us this month!

I don't think you have to have frills, dresses and lace to be feminine, so I colored up the delightful Day Dreaming to create this:

I colored Day Dreaming with Copic markers, then cut her out with a Spellbinders die.

I cut out the card base on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.

The designer papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The blue jeans background paper is one of the Howdy papers.  The strip of pink rose/brick paper is from the Pinkalicious Collection

The lace and crinkle ribbon are from a company no longer in business, 3 Girl JAM.  I computer generated the sentiment and cut it out with a banner die from Crafter's Companion.

Girly Girlz!  Such a fun theme, and one you can play along with all month over in the All Dressed Up Stamps facebook Group!  See you there!

Snowman Slimline (wouldn't you want to be a slim snowman?)

I'm posting today for both Bugaboo Stamps and Cute Card Thursday.  It's Oldie But Goodie Day on the Catch the Bug Blog, and I colored up one of my favorite little Bugaboo Stamps Snowman.  The theme this week at Cute Card Thursday is Slimline Cards, so I made my adorable little snowman into a slimline card.  Why fit one theme when you can make it fit 2?

I created this slimline card with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store and this Snowflake Snowman Digital Stamp...

I colored Snowflake Snowman with Copic markers.  Once the card was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3, it was only a matter of constructing it. That cute Snowflake Snowman makes the card, doesn't he?

There will be other fun Oldie but Goodies on the Catch the Bug Blog, so please check it out. If you make a slimline card this week, link it up at Cute Card Thursday!  The sponsor is Stamper's Delights.

Make America Strong -- for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges

I'm posting a bit of reminder inspiration for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges today.  Challenges now last an entire month.  The current challenge started June 1, and will run through June 30. Independence Day will soon be upon us, so that was what was on my mind when I created this card for today's post:

I combined two different Jan Mayhew sets on this card -- Independence Day Friends and Patriotic Boy.  The red fireworks, the blue fireworks, and the sentiment are from the Independence Day Friends set.  The flags are from the Patriotic Boy set. I used the pre-colored versions of all of these.

I cut the star shaped card base out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The rest of the stars were cut out with a set of dies from Technique Tuesday.

Come join us at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges for our Anything Goes Challenge.  You can link up whatever you are working on.  I'd love to see it, and we have great prizes you can win!

Have a Blessed Easter -- for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges

It's the first Monday of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges, where the challenges are always Anything Goes!

I used a darling Easter set for the challenge today called Cottontail Easter. I used it to create this:

Cottontail Easter comes with 2 versions of the bunny (with and without the bow) and in both pre-colors and black & white. There's also a variety of Easter eggs and sentiments to keep you creating for hours!

I chose a black & white version of Cottontail Easter.  I colored him with Copic markers, then fussy cut him.  I printed the sentiment (also from the Cottontail Easter set), and then I was ready to make the card base.

I found this card front in the Silhouette Design Store, and cut it out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.  I used a wet glue to glue it down to the card front, then added some tiny rhinestones to add sparkle.

I hope you can join our Anything Goes challenge the next 2 weeks at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges.  I'd love to see what you create! One $10 gift certificate will be given away to the Jan's Digi Stamp Store.

My Best Friend -- The Outlawz February Progressive Challenge

I've missed playing in the Outlawz monthly progressive challenge the last 2 months, but when I saw this month's sweet image, I knew it was time to jump back in!

Can you see why?  This adorable image from All Dressed Up Stamps is perfect for a dog lover like me! Thanks to Wendy Burns for donating My Best Friend for this month's challenge!

I colored My Best Friend with Copic markers, then cut out that paw print swath on the card base on my Silhouette Cameo 3. That piece of ribbon that I used to "tie" the card together has been in my stash for years.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Key to my Heart -- for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges

Here we are the first Monday in February already.  I'm always glad to get the cold month of January behind us!  Since it's the first Monday of the month, it's time for a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges, where the challenges are always Anything Goes.

The Turner Syndrome Foundation Bog Hop is going on right now with TONS of great prizes.  The stamp set I'm using today was designed by Jan, and 100% (!) of the proceeds of the sale of this set goes to the Turner Syndrome Foundation.

This set is called The TSF Key Set and it's only $2.  It comes with several beautiful key images, several wonderful butterfly images, and 4 different sentiments.  Images are both black & white and colored. I used one of the colored versions here.

I printed the image so it would fit on my heart-shaped handled bag, then inked around the edges of the stitched oval die cut before I cut it out.  The sentiment (also from the TSF Key set) was printed on colored yardstick, then cut out with a small circle label die.

The bag is a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store and cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.

The pretty background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.   It is one of the papers in the Tea Time Collection.

I hope you can join us the next 2 week at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges. One lucky winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the JDS Store!

With love -- for Jan's Digi Stamps

It's the first Monday of the month (and the new year!), so it's time for a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges, where they are always Anything Goes, all the time!  Link up whatever you are creating, even if it isn't a paper craft.  We'd love to see it!

Jan has a number of adorable penguin sets.  She does them VERY well.  She recently released this Puttin' on the Ritz set, and I just had to play with it!

All of Jan's sets come with several images that are both pre-colored and in black & white, then a few different sentiments that fit the theme of the set.  I used a black & white image here and colored it with Copic markers.

I plan to use this for hubby's valentine's card.  He spent 6 months in Antarctica so he has a thing for penguins!  He will adore this one!

I cut out the rose card base on my Silhouette Cameo, using a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The 'With Love' Sentiment is a die from Crafter's Companion.  The die cut rose and the small stitched heart are dies from Diamond Press.

I hope now that the busy Christmas season is over, you have more time to craft (which will translate into more time to join challenges).  I'd love to see you linked up at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges this next 2 weeks!

Autumn Leaves -- an All Dressed Up Stamps New Release

Oct.22--that means it's time to showcase this month's new releases at All Dressed Up Stamps. There are 4 new releases.  You'll find them showcased on the the All Dressed Up blog, and in the All Dressed Up Facebook group.  They, and all the All Dressed Up Stamps, are available in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.

It was pure joy to color up one of this month's New Releases, Autumn Leaves:

I colored Autumn Leaves with Copic markers.  Isn't she adorable? She is kicking up those leaves and enjoying the wonders of the season!

I cut the card front out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you find time to check out the other new releases this month.  You may find them the perfect digi to grab, then color up for this month's challenges at the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog, and in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  Join us both places!

Pumpkin March -- for Di's Digi Designs Challenges

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  The theme for the next2 weeks is, "Include a Pumpkin".  You can use any image to enter the challenges at Di's Digi Designs Challenges,  but Di has such wonderful images, and lots of them that fit this theme.  You will find them in her Di's Digi Stamps Shop

For today's inspiration, I used the adorable digital image, Pumpkin March.  It has a pumpkin, plus some other cuties!

I colored Pumpkin March with Copic markers, and how such fun doing it!  Di's images make me smile whenever I have the privilege of coloring them up!

I used papers from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  I used three papers from the Cute Halloween paper pack.  The "Boo" sentiment is actually a paper, cut to work as the sentiment.   The spider web was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.

I hope you can join us these next 2 weeks for the "include a pumpkin" challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  That pumpkin can be a part of the image, in the papers, used as an embellishment -- we just want to see a pumpkin, and I'd like to see your creations!

A Latte Birthday Wishes -- the Outlawz Progressive Freebie

Every month, I try to participate in the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge.  This month, Kristy Breach, of Imagine That Digistamp provided the freebie. Not only did she provide everyone with a darling image called Lorie's Mocha for all Seasons, she also provided us with fun coffee sentiments.

I took the easy way out this month, and used one of the cute coffee sentiments, also making a gift tag holder for a friend.  This friend celebrated her 60th birthday yesterday.  She has 4 Labradors, and is training another one to be a service dog for a family with an autistic child.  She has a huge heart, and loves her Labrador Retrievers.  This gift tag holder was a hit:

I found this Labrador gift tag holder file in the Silhouette Design Store, and cut it out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.  The paw print paper is from AMB Illustrations.  You can see the cute sentiment I used, from the Coffee Sentiments.  I cut out the tag with a die from Close To My Heart.  The black ribbon is from my stash.

Back to School -- for Scribbles Designs

It's the 23rd of the month, and it's the day I leave some inspiration on the Scribbles Designs Blog.  School is starting on Monday in the small town where I live, and everywhere I go, the talk is about "back to school."  With that in mind, I created this card:

This is is looooooong.  It fits in a business sized envelope.  It measures 4 x 8.5 inches.

The cute fish were created using the #F88 Bubbles.  It is a free image in the Scribbles Designs Store.  I first placed Bubbles in my photo editing software so I could flip it 180 degrees.  Then, I placed Bubbles in my documents program so I could copy and re-size the fish to make the "school", and adding the sentiment.   Once I got things sized the way I wanted, all that was left was coloring the school of Bubbles with Copic markers.

I found the orange and green papers I was looking for in the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Orange Retro papers and the Distressed Burlap papers

I cut the card base and the fish elements out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with files I found in the Silhouette Design Store.

I hope you find time to visit the Scribbles Designs Blog.  You'll find more inspiration there, along with fun challenges each month.  Then, visit the Scribbles Designs Store for great digis, including this freebie!

Love You to the Stars & Back -- Outlawz Progressive Freebie

I try to participate in the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge each month.  I enjoy the variety of images we are given to work with, and the fact that we have a whole month to color them up and design something with them.

This month, the sponsor is All Dressed Up.  Wendy Burns has the cutest art, so I was very excited for this one!  I enjoyed creating with Stars & Back!

I colored Stars & Back with Copic markers, and added some touches with Wink of Stella pens.

Papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Outer Space Collection.  Bonnie has a paper for every card!

I cut the stars panel out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The light blue glitter stars are from Close To My Heart.  They are part of a kit that is retired.

Thanks So Stinkin' Much -- for SheepSki Designs

It's August 1st, so it's time for a new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  This month, the theme is one of my favorites - Animal Madness!  I love animals, so when I get to make a card with an animal, it makes me happy!

For today's challenge, I used SheepSki Designs digi, Lil' Skunk, to create this:

I colored Lil' Skunk with Copic markers, working hard on this shades of black!

I found this twisted easel card file in the Silhouette Design Store and thought it would be cute for this Lil' Skunk to be displayed on. I used my Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut it out.  The sentiment is from an acrylic stamp by Technique Tuesday.   The red diamond paper and the blue card stock are from Close To My Heart. The flower brads are from my stash. I used a Spellbinders die to cut out Lil' Skunk.

You'll find many wonderful designs in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop that will work for this month's fun Animal Madness theme.  Check out the shop here, then join in the challenge!  I'd love to see what you create!

You're Super -- For Di's Digi Designs Challenges

These weeks go so fast!  It's been two weeks already, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  For the next 2 weeks, the theme is:  Things with Tails &/or Wings.  Since so many of Di's adorable images are creatures, this is an easy peasy one!  Visit her store at Di's Digistamps, do some shopping, then join in the fun!

I used the adorable Little Mouse to create this for the challenge:

Little Mouse is available in both a black & white version and a colored version.  I chose the Little mouse in black & white, then colored it with Copic markers.  I fussy cut the image, then used my Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut out the center step card design used here.  The butterflies designer paper is from AMB Illustrations.

The sentiment is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the Super Hero Sentiments.

I used an image with a tail, then found butterfly papers and added butterflies to the card, just to make sure I had all angles covered with this Wings &/or Tail theme for this challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  I'd love to see how you interpret the theme!  Link up with us!

A Christmas Badger -- for Lavinia Challenge Blog

It's Christmas in July -- or at least I'm celebrating it.  I'm also celebrating the fun challenges at Lavinia World Challenge Blog.  Challenges run for 2 weeks, are Anything Goes, but you must use an acrylic or rubber stamp.  You don't have to use a Lavinia Stamp, but if you do, you double your chance of winning the awesome $15 gift certificate.

On this Christmas card, I used the beautiful Badger (LAV443):

I stamped the Badger with Cocoa Brown Memento ink, then used some Copic markers to shade him.  I cut his awesome Santa Hat out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The sentiment is a die, purchased from Dies R Us. Papers are digital, and are from We Are 3 -- they are the Peppermint papers.
