Ladybug Daisy -- for Bugaboo Stamps

 It's Sunday, and Stella is telling us it's time for another sketch Challenge over on the Catch the Bug Blog.  Yes, it's Stella Says Sketch time!  This challenge will run for the next 2 weeks. 

I'll show you my card first, then the sketch.

This card uses the Bugaboo Stamps digital image, Ladybug Daisy.  I colored Ladybug Daisy with Copic markers. 

Here's the sketch for the current Stella Says Sketch challenge over on Catch the Bug:

As you can see, I followed that sketch almost exactly.  I even put the image in the same place, because I thought I would like all that white space.  Then, of course, I had to try to fill it, so I added some sequins.

The papers are from Crafter's Companion, and the sentiment is from a stamp set I've had for a long, long time. It's from Simon Says Stamp.

 It's Saturday, and there is a new Anything Goes Challenge starting over on the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.  It will run for the next 2 weeks. 

I have a thing about coloring with pencils on Kraft paper.  I love the look of it, and whenever I color with pencils, I almost always print the image on Kraft.  That's exactly what I did today.

This Floral Butterfly Thank You comes with 2 versions -- this one, and a plain one without a sentiment. 

I used Spectrum Noir Colorblend pencils on this, and Crafter's Companion papers. The butterfly die is also from Crafter's Companion.

Field of Flowers -- For Bugaboo Stamps

 It's Friday -- and that means it's Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! You'll find the link to this week's freebie, plus awesome inspiration, over on the Catch the Bug Blog. 

Today's image is part of a set called Mini Set - Flowers, in case you miss the freebie, but still want the design. There are 7 flower designs in the set, including this one:

I colored Mini Set - Flowers with Copic markers. I cut it out with a square stitched die from The Scrapping Cottage, and cut out the same die in a pearlescent yardstick for some contrast.  I computer generated the sentiment right into the stamp design.  The background paper is from my stash.   The flowers are from Prima.

I'll show you my card first, then the sketch for this challenge.  Since next weekend is Memorial Day here in the USA, I went with a patriotic theme.  This is one of my favorite patriotic themed Bugaboo images -- USA Flag Puppy...

I colored USA Flag Puppy with Copic markers, and used papers from Close To My Heart for the card.

As you can see, I followed it very closely, only changing where I placed the sentiment.

 It's time for a new challenge at Catch the Bug Challenges, home of Bugaboo Stamps. The new challenge starts today, runs for 2 weeks, and as always now, is Anything Goes!  My favorite!

Bugaboo Stamps has a great line of digital images in the shop called Make It Snappy.  They do exactly what the name implies -- they make up into a card or project very quickly.  For today's project, I made a card out of the Make It Snappy - Roses.

I started by coloring the Make It Snappy - Roses image using a combination of Spectrum Noir Tricolor Brush alcohol markers, and Copic markers. I then cut it out and mounted it with black card stock to make it pop.

The designer papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  I uses 2 of the papers in the Shirley's Roses Collection.    I finished the card off with some Nuvo Vintage Drops.

Happy Easter to Ewe! for Bugaboo Stamps & Cute Card Thursday

 It's Thursday!  It's nearly Easter, and Thursday's mean a couple of things.  There's always a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday. The theme this week is Easter.  It's also always Oldie but Goodie day at Catch the Bug Challenges for Bugaboo Stamps.

I colored Violet Can with mostly Copic markers, but used a couple Spectrum Noir Triblend brush markers on the checks on the can.

Thank You Tulip

 It's Thursday, and this is the day that older, but much loved images are featured at Bugaboo Stamps.  You'll find all the action on on the Catch the Bug Blog.  It's also the day that a new challenge begins at Cute Card Thursday. The theme is Spring Fever.  Join us with your spring time projects this week! 

When thinking about older, but well-loved images to make for today, I reached for one of my all-time Bugaboo favorites, Tulip Jar.  I've colored this image many times.  Each time, I reach for slightly different colors, so it looks different every single time.  Love this Tulip Jar!

I colored Tulip Jar with Copic markers, then cut it out with a Spellbinders rectangle die, backing it with a layer of gold, cut out with another Spellbinders die from the same set. The sentiment is also from Spellbinders.

Balloon Bunch Favor Box -- for Bugaboo Stamps

 Hello, and happy Monday!  There are a lot of 'B' letters in the title of today's blog post.  I do not think I will try to say it 3 times fast!   I will show you my cute favor box made featuring the Balloon Bunch digital image from Bugaboo Stamps, though!  It is for today's Anything But a Card post over on Catch the Bug. 

I colored Balloon Bunch with Copic markers.  I created the favor box with a double sider cutting die by Crafter's Companion.  I cut out Balloon Bunch and backed it with cutting dies by Nellie's Choice.  All I'll need to do is tuck a gift certificate &/or some chocolates inside the little box, and I'll be all set to give it away!

 I'm posting today for both Bugaboo Stamps and Cute Card Thursday.  It's Oldie But Goodie Day on the Catch the Bug Blog, and I colored up one of my favorite little Bugaboo Stamps Snowman.  The theme this week at Cute Card Thursday is Slimline Cards, so I made my adorable little snowman into a slimline card.  Why fit one theme when you can make it fit 2? 

I created this slimline card with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store and this Snowflake Snowman Digital Stamp...

I colored Snowflake Snowman with Copic markers.  Once the card was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3, it was only a matter of constructing it. That cute Snowflake Snowman makes the card, doesn't he?

Puppy Love on Valentine's Day -- For Bugaboo Stamps

 Happy Valentine's Day!  Do you ever make cards for your pets to give to your loved ones?  Pets are a very important part of most families, so I'm guessing I'm not the only one that does this!

There's a new Stella Says Sketch Challenge starting today for Bugaboo Stamps.  It's all happening over on the Catch the Bug Blog. Since it's Valentine's Day, I thought I'd make a card for my dog to give to my husband.  After all, he needs to show his love, too!

Using one of the pups in the Valentine Pup Set (there are 3 in the set), I created this:

I colored Valentine Pup with Copic markers, then used some of my all-time favorite papers to create this card.  They are the Muddy Paws Papers from We Are 3 Digital Shop.
