Chirp Up! for MHKDesigns April Challenge

Hello, and happy April!  April 1, April Fool's Day, a day of having tricks pulled on you, so be careful!  It's also the first day of a new challenge at MHKDesigns.  You have all month to join in the fun.  I hope you do!  Every challenge is Anything Goes, if you use an MHKDesigns image or paper.  There is an inspiration board if you don't.

Using this month's inspiration board, here's what I created for the April MHKDesigns challenge:

I used a variety of MHKDesigns sets from the Etsy Shop to create this card.  The bird on the branch is from the Birds & Branches Digital Stamp Set.  I colored it with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a paintbrush.  The "chirp up" sentiment is from the Tweet Tweet digital stamp set.  Papers on this card are also from MHKDesigns.  They are the Cheerful Chirpings Digital Papers

MHKDesigns Products used on this card:

There are so many wonderful products in the MHKDesigns Etsy shop that entering this month's challenge is easy peasy!  Here's the inspiration photo in case you need it:

I hope you join us this month for the April MHKDesigns Challenge.  We have great prizes to win!  Check the MHKDesigns blog often for fantastic inspiration.  There will be wonderful new releases this month that you WON'T want to miss!  Don't forget about the MHKDesigners & Friends Facebook group for more fun, news, and inspiration.

Pure Joy -- a New Release for Crafty Sentiments Designs

It's New Release week at Crafty Sentiments Designs.  You'll want to visit the Crafty Sentiments Inspirations blog each day starting yesterday through Friday to see them all.  Then, head to the Crafty Sentiments Designs store on Saturday to do some shopping of the new releases!

Today, I introduce you to the rubber stamp, 'Josh - Planting':

I colored 'Josh - Planting' with Copic markers, then used 2 dies from Craftin' Desert Divas to cut it out and back it.

Designer papers for this card and the card stock base are from Close To My Heart.   The 'joy' sentiment is a die from Lil Inkers.  The paper edges are cut with dies from Paper Wishes.

This rubber stamp, 'Josh - Planting' was pure joy to color.  I hope you enjoyed today's card and will visit the Crafty Sentiments Store to pick it up for yourself!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Santa, I've Been Good -- for the 12 Months of Christmas

It's the 15th of the month, and time for some mid-month inspiration on the 12 Months of Christmas Challenge Blog.   This month, our theme is "Here Comes Santa Claus".  Link up a card with that theme to be eligible to win the prize from our sponsor, Rick St. Dennis.

The Rick St. Dennis image is called 'Santa Cookies'.   I colored the image with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils, then cut it out with a Lawn Fawn circle stitched die.

Designer papers for this card are from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The banner dies are from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The bow die is from Lil' Inker Designs.

Join us with your Christmas cards this month for a chance to win digital papers and a gift certificate from Rick St. Dennis at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Snowy & Cold -- for Digi Choosday

It's Tuesday, and new challenge day at Digi Choosday. It's also HUGE discount day at Digi Choosday!  For 24 hours, any and all downloads are 33% off at the Polkadoodles store.  See? HUGE!

This week, the theme at Digi Choosday Challenge Blog is Feeling Cold - Ice & Snow.  Brrr!  Winter's coming, for sure with this theme!

I played with the Work & Play 5, Festive Hollybobs Digital Craft Download Collection.  The cute gift box template and the preprinted image are both from the Collection.

The paper ribbon was created with a cutting die from Lil' Inkers Designs.  Ribbons on the handle of the gift box are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you join us this week for our Feeling Cold - Ice & Snow challenge at Digi Choosday. It goes for the next 2 weeks.  The "Something New" challenge is still going on for another week.

Wishing You Joy

It's Monday, the start of another week, and the start of a very fun cross-promotional event between Timeless Twine and Lil' Inker Designs.  The Timeless Twine team was given the opportunity to choose some Lil' Inker Designs products to play with, and let me tell you, I found JOY!  Timeless Time and Lil' Inker Designs are a great combination!
I've been working diligently to get a Christmas card or 2 (or more) made each month so I'm not so overwhelmed when December hits.  Here's another one to add to the "ready" pile:

I used the Lil' Inker stamp set, "Jolly & Joyful" to stamp the words "wishing you", and to stamp the Scandinavian looking tree.  I then separated Timeless Twine Olive Green baker's twine into strands, using just the green, and stitched over the stamped tree image.  The word "joy" is a Lil' Inker Designs word die.
Here's a closeup of the stitched Christmas tree:

Some Cherry Red Timeless Twine wrapped around the card, and several cute bows finish off the card.  One of those cute bows is the mini bow die from Lil' Inker Designs.

Papers -- Echo Park Christmas This & That
Rhinestones -- stash
rectangle die -- Spellbinders
card base -- Close To My Heart cranberry

Would you like a chance to win a $20 gift certificate? Visit the Timeless Twine blog each day during the cross promotion and leave a comment.  You could be the winner!
Stop by both the Timeless Twine and Lil' Inker Designs blogs each day this week for tons of fun and great inspiration.  It's going to be amazing!
