Thank You For Your Kindness -- for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's Monday, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Our theme this month is Thankfulness.  Our sponsor is A Day For Daisies.

I thought these Sunflowers is a Mason Jar would make a lovely Thank You card:

I colored them with Copic Markers, then used some Spellbinders Edger dies to create the card.  The papers on the card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  These are 2 of the Sunflower papers.  The sentiment was hand stamped from my stash.

Join us for our Thankfulness challenge at the Path of Positivity

Our sponsor this month is A Day for Daisies.  My card uses the darling Mouse Daisy image:

I colored Mouse Daisy with Copic Markers.  The background panel is a Spellbinders panel, and I added rhinestones to the flowers.  the Many Thanks, was hand stamped on the card.

You are Strong! for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so it's time for some mid-month inspiration over at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  The optional twist this month is "courage", or you can link up anything you create with a positive theme.

Every month, our ongoing sponsor is Scribbles Designs.  I found an awesome, free sentiment in the Scribbles Designs Store that I used as the focal point of my card:

I printed the sentiment large and bold onto white card stock, then began inking.  I used a few pink shades of ink from my Spectrum Noir Harmony ink pads. I love the way they blend!   I found the wonderful pink ribbon designer paper in the Imagine That Digistamp Store. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and the very old brad is from Close To My Heart.

We are also sponsored this month from Beccy's Place.  Link up your projects to be eligible to win a gift certificate from her store!  You have until Nov. 3.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Do Not Fear the Wind -- for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the first Monday of the month, and it's time for a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Our themes are optional.  This month's optional theme is Courage.  You can choose to use this theme, or link up any positively themed project you make all month long.

Our sponsor this month is Beccy's Place.  There will be a generous gift certificate given from Beccy's Place.  Our ongoing sponsor is Scribbles Designs

I used Bonsai from Beccy's Place for our Courage challenge, and created this:

I colored the Bonsai tree with Copic markers.  The sentiment, that so nicely ties this all in with the courage theme, is part of the Bonsai digital stamp set.  In case the font is a bit hard to read, it says, "When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind."  It was thoughts such as these that got me through cancer and chemo, and my faith in God, along with the prayers and support of many.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are part of the Trees Digital Paper Collection

I hope you can join us this month at the Path of Positivity for our optional Courage Challenge. You have until November 3.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Never Lose Your Sense of Wonder - for the Path of Positivity

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. This month, the optional theme is, "curiosity".  Our sponsor for this month is Bugaboo Stamps, and our ongoing sponsor is Scribbles Designs

I used the adorable Deacon Bugs to create this card:

I colored Deacon Bugs with Copic markers, then computer generated my sentiment, sticking with the theme of 'curiosity'.  Deacon Bugs definitely seems curious, going off to explore nature, with his bug net and pail to collect his specimens.  He's a boy after my own heart!  I, too, love to go on hikes exploring.

I used 2 papers from the Autumn Woodland Collection from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The Fall ephemera was cut out with dies from Yvonne Creations.

The 'Curiosity' theme is optional.  You can link up any positive themed project you make at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  You have until Oct. 6.  I'd love to see your creations!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Never Stop Exploring - for the Path of Positivity and Bugaboo

It's the first Monday of the month, and it's time for a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Bugaboo Stamps is one of our sponsors this month, and I'm on the Bugaboo design team, so I'm doubling up and posting this on the Catch the Bug blog also.
We're also sponsored by Scribbles Designs each month, with a chance to win a gift certificate from them each month, just for following our theme and linking up.

Speaking of themes, they are optional.  This month's optional theme is "curiosity".  You can follow that theme, or link up any positive themed project you'd like.

Bugaboo Stamps has a stamp for anything you can imagine.  Even curiosity!

Since school started late last week in the small town where I live, I made a bookmark with this cute, cute image.  This is Bugaboo Stamps digi, Knobby Knees Girl Bugs, colored with Copic markers.

I used a few different dies to make this bookmark.  The largest tag die is from Paper Wishes.  The smaller tag, including the piece where the computer generated sentiment is, was purchased in the Dies R Us Store are by Creative Expressions.  The pretty dragonfly die is from Cheery Lynn. I used a foil stamp and foil machine to create the background on the large tag.

It's Anything But a Card day today at Catch the Bug. Check out what the other Bugaboo Stamps designer created today.

Join us this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our optional themed curiosity challenge.  I'd love to see what you make!

To the Beach -- for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so it's time for some mid-month inspiration over on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  The optional twist this month is: relaxation.  You can make a project using this optional theme, or link up any positive themed project you'd like.

One of our ongoing sponsors is Scribbles Designs.  I used the very fun digi image, To the Beach to create my "relaxation" card:

I colored up the To the Beach sign with Copic markers, then cut it out.  The sentiment is my own, and was computer generated.  Papers on this card are from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles, and are part of her Taste of Summer kit.

I find being at the lake one of the most relaxing places to be.  If I have a choice, take me to the beach!

I hope you will join us this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our optional Relaxation themed challenge.  You have until September 1st to link up.

Relax! It's Summer! for Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the first Monday of August, and the Path of Positivity Challenge  Blog is up and going after taking the month of July off.  Our challenges are a month long, with great sponsors an optional themes.  This month's optional theme is: Relaxation (or you can enter any positive themed project you'd like).  Our sponsor this time is Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  Lisa Decosse makes really great papers, and you could win some of hers!

I used her Taste of Summer papers to create this:

I used 5 papers from the set.  The fish background paper, the paper that the bikini is cut out of, the papers that the stitched ovals are cut from, and the paper the "Hello" is cut from.

I find a day at the beach about as relaxing as it gets, so I thought it would fit our "Relaxation" theme very well.  Summer is all about taking some well deserved breaks from the usual routine, and relaxing more than we do the rest of the year (even if it's not in a bikini anymore).

Join us at the Path of Positivity for our optional Relaxation themed challenge.  You have until Sept. 1!

Hang in There -- for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so it's time for some mid-month inspiration at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. The optional theme this month is 'Encouragement'.  Our awesome sponsor is SheepSki Designs. I used the very fun Hanging Around to create this:

I'm sending this to a 98 year old friend that has had to go into a rehab unit for some therapy.  He's hoping to gain strength and go back to live with his daughter, but he knows at 98, he has his work cut out for him.

I colored Hanging Around with Copic markers, then computer generated the sentiment.  The animal print paper is from Imagine That Digistamp.  The glimmer trim on the left side is from Close To My Heart, and the pretty pink bow comes from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Encouragement -- it's the optional theme this month at The Path of Positivity.  You can always enter any positive project you create.  If you follow the optional theme, you could win a gift certificate from our awesome sponsor, SheepSki Designs.  I hope you join us!

Just a Note -- for Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the first Monday of the month, so it must be time for a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog!  The challenge starts today, and runs until Sunday, June 30.  The optional theme this month is 'Encouragement', or you can link up any positive themed project that you make.

Our sponsor this month is SheepSki Designs.  I just love Andrea North's images, so this is a real treat for me!  For the start of the challenge, I had the joy of working with a digital image called 'Solo':

This is an encouragement card, as this inside reads "to show I care".   I'm sending it to a friend that has been ill and needs a bit of cheering up.

I colored Solo with Copic markers.  The note paper, with floral accents is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is from the Just a Song Collection.

Encouragement -- we all need it, we all give it.  Make a project and link up this month at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  You'll have a chance to win wonderful images like this one from SheepSki Designs!

You Are My Moon & Stars -- for Path of Positivity

It's Monday, and it's time for some mid-month inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  This month, the optional challenge theme is 'Admiration', or you can enter any positive themed project you'd like.  Our ongoing sponsor each month is Scribbles Designs.

My husband is a source of great inspiration for me, and I admire him very much.  He has a work ethic that few can rival, calling in sick once in his nearly 30 years with the company he works for.  His 8 hour work days are 10-11 hours each and every day, although he's paid for 8, and I could go on and on.  I made him this card, using a free image found in the Scribbles Designs Store, to show him my appreciation for the things he does for me:

I used #F146 Moon & Stars, colored with Copic markers.  The star and moon die is from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with a die from Spellbinders.  The starry sky background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is a new release this month. It is one of the Moon Desert papers.

'Admiration'-- the optional theme this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  I hope you can join us!

You Are Pawsitively Wonderful -- for Path of Positivity

It's the first Monday of the month, and that means it's time for a new challenge at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Each month there are optional themes, and this month's is Admiration.

When I think of what/who I admire most, my dog ranks right up there.  Well, dogs.  Period.  They are such a loving, forgiving, giving animal.  I think God knew what He was doing when he created dogs, and it is no accident that God spelled backwards is dog.

With that idea in mind, I created a card with this month's awesome sponsor, A Day for Daisies:

This is Buddy, colored with Copic markers.  The love between a boy and his dog, or a girl and her dog, can be life transforming for that child.  Our Golden Retriever, Winter, brings my husband and I joy every single day.  Our lives are much richer because of him.  There is much to admire in the personality of dogs!

The sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps (no longer in business).  The awesome paw print border, and the bone shaped dies were both purchases at the Dies R Us Store.  The dog themed paper is an Echo Park digital paper, purchased at Snap Click Supply.

Admiration -- a theme you can go many different directions with -- so I hope you join us this month at The Path of Positivity.  A Day for Daisies has the best digis you can win!

Happiness is a Wet Nose -- for Path of Positivity

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, and that means it's time for some mid-month inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. The optional theme this month is "Happiness".

Few things make me as happy as my dog, so it should come as no surprise that I went with a dog theme on my card!

I used a digital image from one of our sponsors, Limited Runs Stamps called Puppy Love:

I colored Puppy Love with Copic markers and computer generated my happiness sentiment.

I used the sketch from this month's Cheerful Sketches Challenge Blog.  Here it is:
The fun dog themed papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Dog Love papers.

Happiness -- it's the optional theme this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Enter a project with that theme to be eligible to win the prizes from our awesome sponsors.  Or, enter any positive themed project you'd like!  I look forward to seeing what you create!

One of our sponsors this month is Limited Runs Stamps.  I used an image that makes me happy, called Mini Bird - Heart Balloon

I colored Mini Bird - Heart Balloon with Copic markers.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The fun, bright paper at the bottom of the card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is from the Party Celebration papers.

Friendship Never Goes Out of Style -- for Path of Positivity

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, and that means it's time for some mid-month inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. The optional theme in March is 'Friendship'.  That's an easy one!

One of our sponsors this month (and every month this year) is Scribbles Designs.  I used several Scribbles Designs digital stamps and an SDD paper to create this friendship themed card:

I thought this sentiment was so much fun, I decided to make it the focal point.  It's #005 Friendships.  The flip flops are #848 Flip Flops, and the pretty flower paper is a freebie from Scribble Doodle Designs, and can be found here

I hope you can join us this month at Path of Positivity Challenge blog for our optional Friendship themed challenge.  Or, you can link up any positive themed project you make.  Our other awesome sponsor this month is Bugaboo Stamps

Some of my Best Friends Have FUR! for Path of Positivity and Bugaboo!

I love people, and I love dogs, so when I heard that the optional theme this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog was Friendship, and that Bugaboo Stamps was one of our awesome sponsors, I knew JUST what I wanted to do!

One of my best friend's mother recently had her leg amputated above the knee, and she's more than likely going to lose her hand soon.  She's been bombarded with get well cards, so I wanted to brighten her day, but with a twist.  She's a dog lover, much like me, so I made her this Treat bag for the next time I visit her:

I used the darling Bugaboo digi, Izzie Brat and Charlie, colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is computer generated.

I bought a bunch of treat bags several years ago from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I don't think they carry them anymore, but I sure do enjoy having them on hand for projects just like this one.

The Path of Positivity Challenges go for a month.  The optional theme this month is Friendship, but you can enter any positive theme challenge you'd like.  Please join us!  I'd love to see your creations, and you could win awesome prizes from our sponsors -- like this darling digi from Bugaboo Stamps

You'll also find this project at Catch the Bug Blog today, for the Anything But a Card feature.  Check out what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designers created today at Catch the Bug

Loving is Easy -- for Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so it's time for a bit of mid-challenge inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  This month, the optional theme is "Love".  That's an easy one for February!

We have 2 sponsors this month -- Beccy's Place and Scribbles Designs.  I used products from both of them on this card:

I printed the Nasturtium and Loving More sentiment directly unto the frame.  Then, I colored the Nasturtium with Faber-Castell colored pencils.

Papers on this card are from Heartfelt Creations.  I added foil to one of the papers to give the card more of a "wow" factor for the recipient.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I'm really enjoying their 3/8 inch ribbons.  They are perfect for cards.

You can win prizes for both our wonderful sponsors.  Simply link up a project that fits into the optional "Love" category at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

Life is Beautiful -- for Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the first Monday of the month, and that means there's a new challenge starting today at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Our optional theme this month (surprise, surprise) is 'love'.  Or, you can link up any inspirational project you make, all month long!

Our sponsor this month is Beccy's Place, and I had the pleasure of working with an image and sentiment from the Shabby Chic Roses digital stamp set.

This is my husband's Valentine's Day card.  He loves birds and bird houses, and I thought this sentiment spoke volumes about our 35 years of marriage:

I colored the birdhouse from the Shabby Chic Roses set with Copic markers.  The sentiment, also from the Shabby Chic Roses set, was printed directly onto the designer paper from the Poppy Collection at Heartfelt Creations.

I used a sketch from The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge on this card.  Here's the sketch:

I hope you find time to enter the challenge this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  With Valentine's Day being this month, I'm guessing many of us having 'Love' projects for the optional 'love' theme.  I'd love to see your creations!

Inspirational Birthday -- for Path of Positivity

It's Monday, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is "anything inspirational" -- that's a pretty broad topic!

After surviving cancer, I have a different outlook on birthdays.  Any birthday needs to be celebrated with gusto, and just making it to the next one is inspirational and cause for a wonderful celebration. You will never hear me complain about turning a year older again!

I have a birthday card for the challenge today, featuring an image and sentiment from one of our sponsors this month, Scribbles Designs.  When you first look at it, it might not look particularly inspirational, but it is!  This birthday card, intentionally made with bright colors and bright papers, is for a friend with cancer.  When diagnosed, she didn't know if she'd make it to her upcoming birthday, but she will.  We are going to celebrate it big time.  She won't see another one, so this one has to be REALLY special!

Here's the card:
This card uses an image and sentiment from the Carl Party set. I colored the presents with Copic markers.

Papers on this card are from Pixel Scrapper.  I love how colorful they are!

I found a sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches and really liked it, so you used on this card.  It will be my first time entering one of their challenges, so I'm excited about that!
Here's the sketch:

Let Your Light Shine -- for Path of Positivity

Here we go again!  It's a new month, and a new year of challenges at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  This year, in order to qualify for the prizes from our awesome sponsors, you need only hav e project that is inspirational in theme.  How easy is that?

Speaking of sponsors, this month, we are sponsored by Ike's Art and we have a new ongoing sponsor of Scribbles Designs

For today's challenge, I "worked" with an image from Ike's Art called Blossom.  I find pretty flowers very inspirational when it's cold, dark, and dreary in January!

I colored up the Blossoms with Copic markers, then fussy cut them out.  The sentiment is a stamp from Close To My Heart -- inspirational, for sure!  I've been wanting to use that floral border die cut for a long time.  A friend of mine and I exchanged a bunch if die cuts, and this is one she sent me, so I don't know who it's by, but I think it is so pretty!  The rose paper in the background is from AMB Illustrations.  They have an Etsy Shop.

The Path of Positivity Challenges go all month.  It starts today, January 7, and goes until February 3.   Surely, you'll make something inspirational in that amount of time and can link up with us!  I'd love to see what you make!
