Little Petal -- A NR for All Dressed Up Stamps

It's that time of the month where I get to share a New Release from All Dressed Up Stamps. Wendy releases 3 new images each month.  You will find all of them in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.

This month, I had the absolute pleasure of creating with Little Petal. Isn't she sweet?

I had my watercolor markers handy, so I decided to color Little Petal up using them. I alway like the softer look of watercolors, but I'm not very proficient at it.

The background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the papers in the Summer Splash collection.

The watercolor markers and the sentiment (both stamps and die cut) are from Altenew.  The sequins are a mix from Honey Bee Stamps.

You can see the other New Releases, and the wonderful projects from the design team in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group and on the ADU challenge blog.

Starry Skies -- For Dies R Us Challenges

Here we are, to the 15th of June already.  Summer is just about here on the calendar, and many of us are in summer mode now that schools are out, and graduation is over.

Dies R Us Challenges has a theme of Dads/Masculine this month.  Use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store, follow the theme, and you have until the end of the month to link up.

I needed several Graduation cards recently, and this is what I created for one of them:

I used the Starry Skies background die from Sizzix, and the You Did It dies from Frantic Stamper.  The yellow background was blended with inks from Hero Arts and Tim Holtz Oxide Distress inks

I hope you can join us this next 2 weeks for our Dads/Masculine challenge.  Just remember to use a brand of die found in the Dies R Us Store.  For Canadian friends, there is the Didi Crafts Store.  It offers a wonderful selection of craft products and reasonable shipping rates.

Daisy Fairy -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Greetings, friends!  It's June 1 already!  These months go by so fast!  June 1 means a new challenge is starting in the All Dressed Up Stamps facebook group.   Our theme this month is "Pick a color/colors".  Pick your favorites, and join in the challenge! You'll find many fantastic images in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop. The challenge starts today, and runs all month.

I chose the "colors" option for my card.  I like to combine multiple colors together when Copic coloring, instead of always using a color family.  This works particularly well for hair and flowers.  I combined both hair AND flower multiple colors here on this card:

This is Daisy Fairy.  Isn't she the sweetest?  I used shades of pink and yellow on the petals of her dress and flower in her hair (one of my favorite color combos for coloring Copics.) Another favorite combo was used on her hair.  I used shades of violet, blue violet, blue, and gray.

I found papers that matched my theme so well at We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The 2 designer papers are both from the Darcy's Garden collection.  There are 6 more beautiful papers, for a total of 8.

The sentiment was computer generated, then cut out with banner die from Hero Arts. The glitter  trim is from Close To My Heart.  The crinkle ribbon is by D.L. Art.  The oval shapes are by Spellbinders Paper Arts.

I hope you join us this month for the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook challenge, Pick a Colors/color. You'll find another challenge every month over at the ADU Challenge Blog

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Southwestern Scene -- for Dies R Us Challenges

Good day, Friends!  It's June 1 (already), and it's time for a new challenge on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog The challenge will run until June 14, with a new challenge starting on June 15.  This month's theme is Dads/Masculine.  Use any brand of die in the Dies R Us Store, follow the theme, and link up with us!

Sadly, I no longer need to make Father's Day cards, so I used the masculine option instead:

This card uses a Spellbinders die set called Colorblock Landscape.  I combined it with a sun ray background die from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment and die that cut it out are from the Hero Arts set Message Strips Stamp & Die XL.  The embossing powder I used was the Nuvo Fine Detail -- Copper Blush.

I hope you can join us this next 2 weeks!  Just use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store

For Canadian customers, you'll enjoy the Didi Crafts Store.  You'll find a great selection of crafting goodies and reasonable shipping!
