You Give Me Wings -- For Dies R Us Challenges

It's the first of May, so that means it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges. Challenges run for 2 weeks, and are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store

The day I made this card, we had snow showers, but I am very ready for spring.  I was thinking sunshine, and warmth, and things that make me think of spring -- like butterflies!

This card uses a Create-a-Card die by Crafter's Companion called Butterfly Love.  The sentiment was stamped on a frame by Nellie's Choice that was purchased during a European die weekend event at Dies R Us. It is also available in the Didi Crafts (sister store) here.  The small butterfly on the sentiment tag is by Spellbinders.

I hope this card make you think of and feel like spring, and I hope you can join us at Dies R Us Challenges.  There will be a gift certificate awarded, and 3 designer choice awards!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Be Brave Enough to Fly -- for All Dressed Up

Happy April, everyone!  There's a new challenge that starts today in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  The theme for the month of April is "Animal Madness".  There are lots of great images in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop that will work for this theme!  Wendy has the best art!

I used Little Birdie to create this:

I colored Little Birdie with Copic markers, then used a Spellbinders label die set to create the card base and layers.  The sentiment is from an acrylic stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The daisy paper on this card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Farm Life digital papers.

Animal Madness -- the theme this month at All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge -- I hope you join us!

I found some challenges to enter:

Word Art Wednesday -- ATG
Outlawz Sunday Songs & rhymes (A Glimpse of Stocking)
Outlawz Saturday ala Mode -- shaped cards

Fly High -- All Dressed Up introduction!

Greetings, fellow craft lovers.  Today is a big day for me.  I've known for quite some time now that I made the All Dressed Up Facebook design team, but today, we are officially introduced!  Yea!  I'm very excited about this as I've been an All Dressed Up fan since about 2014!  I've tried out for the team several times before, but this time, luck was with me.

I pondered my intro card for awhile, then chose an image that had some of my favorite elements, flowers, fairies, faces, and hair.  It also lent itself well to a shaped card -- one of my favorites to make, so here's my first "official" card as a Dressy Girl:

This card uses Little Flower Fairy, colored with Copic markers.   The Little Flower Fairy is delightful, isn't she?  She makes me think of spring, which is taking it's sweet time about arriving here in Northern Wisconsin.

The 'Fly High' sentiment is from a Rubbernecker Stamps.  The card was created using a die from Yvonne dies.  The background paper is from Close To My Heart.  The butterfly die is from Sizzix, and the crinkle ribbon is from a company no longer in business, but I was on her design team and still have a ton of her ribbon -- 3 Girl JAM.

You'll be seeing more All Dressed Up projects from me -- at least 2 each month.  Look for new releases, and Facebook Challenge inspiration.  I'd love to see your projects in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group!  Check out the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog, also, for the latest in challenges, inspiration, and new releases.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

You Give Me Wings -- Ike's Art Progressive Challenge

Happy Saturday!  We're in the midst of a winter storm warning, and it is really snowing!  I'm so ready for spring!

I was thinking spring when I colored this image from Ike's Art and created this card the last several days.  I was thinking butterflies and warmth!

This is Cute Fairy, and she's this month's progressive freebie at Ike's Art Facebook Challenge. If you haven't joined in yet, you can buy Cute Fairy for just $1, make something, then next month's image will be free.

I colored Cute Fairy with Copic markers.   The sentiment is from a stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps.

Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.  I used a sketch from The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge on this card.

The metallic butterflies and ladybug are from Art -C.

I hope to enter this card in the following challenges:
Ike's World Challenge -- ATG (spring photo)
D.L. Art -- April Linky Party
TTCRD -- ATG
IDCB -- ATG

Always be Brave Enough to Fly!

Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!  I have a card today that I'm entering in several challenges.  It uses this week's sketch from The Outlawz Sketch Challenge, and the current Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Freebie.  I just loved this little guy, and had to jump into the progressive challenge, found in the Sasayaki Glitter Facebook Group.

Naz is also looking for guest designers in May.  Now that I'm recovered from cancer, chemo, and my most recent bronchitis infection, I'm crafting with a passion again, and would love the chance to once again design with the wonderful Sasayaki Glitter images I loved from the past.  So, I'll try for a chance at that, too!

I made this card using the darling, Missing You digi:

I colored Missing You with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from Rubbernecker Stamps, and seemed perfect for this image.  Papers are from Close To My Heart.  The stitched frame is from Lawn Fawn.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Sasayaki Progressive Freebie -- Facebook
Sasayaki Challenge Blog -- Friendship
D.L. Art -- March Linky Party
IDCB -- ATG with optional Pastel theme
Crafting From the Heart Challenge Blog -- ATG
