And, for my project....This design team has been so good for me.  It has challenged me to do things I wouldn't have done if I wasn't on the team.  It is truly a challenge blog for me, too.  I had never used the faux stitching technique on my Silhouette, so YouTube rescued me -- again!  Here's what I created:

I used my Cameo to create the shaped card.  Then, I made a smaller, similar shaped print and cut panel and faux stitched around it with a double line of stitching.  The large front bicycle tire and basket is part of the print and cut paper.  I then used a Close To My Heart stamp set for the smaller bicycle and sentiment.  I painted the bicycle with Creative Inspirations paints to give them some shimmer.  A lipstick pink bow of 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon and some black bling from my stash completes the outside of the card.
Inside, I added another print and cut shape, more faux stitching, and the rest of the stamped sentiment:

There it is, my first ever faux stitching project. I know without a doubt it is not my last.  I'm loving this technique.  It adds so much to a card or layout.  Try it for yourself, then link up with us at Silhouette Challenges.  You have until July 31st.
