A Little New Year's Advice -- for Pinque Peacock and Friends With Flair

Happy New Year, my scrappy friends! I hope you are all recovered from the big holiday and are having a little down time to "catch up' on things.  I am actually enjoying a couple days off, so I'm hiding in my craft room!
Since the year is so new, I thought I would start it out with some words of wisdom for all my blog readers with this card, using a Pinque Peacock large layered garden beauty.

That's Charlotte, a Unity Stamp Company Fashionista.  And her words of advice are from a Unity sentiment set, "I am Woman".  Isn't she fine? And the Pinque Peacock embellishment just makes the card.  Oh my.
So, sisters, as we start the new year, let's do it.  Let's keep our heels, heads, and standards high.  Or at least our heads and our standards.  I can't seem to do the heels anymore ;)

  12. What an awesome and fun card, I love it!!! I just got Charlotte, can't wait to color her up! And I'm with you on the heels... it's important to be comfortable! Plus, I'm terrified of falling over and ruining my knee again. Oh, my...now I just feel old... LOL!

  13. Love this---Great advice! Great card! Love it, even with the heels, which I love, but is very impractical (and unsafe!) for a mom running after an active preschooler...yeesh! Thank goodness for stamps, so I can get my heels on!

  15. Cute card for kicking off the new year!
Don't even get me started on the weather! So cold and snowy, has been for 6+ weeks! Tomorrow and Monday sound really horrible. Today was better than we thought but the snowplow knocked our mailbox off at ground level. Oh well, like you said good for crafting! Dd2 moved to Maui on Thursday. Was pure busy getting her house packed up

  18. Julie this is such a pretty card. I'm so excited to see both have done each week at Unity. How exciting. I hope to do each week to help put my Unity stamps to work. I can't wait to see what you make for next week. I think PP flower is a perfect addition to your card.
