Home - My Happy Place -- for We Are 3 Digital Shop

Home.  We've probably all been spending more time there than we've planned on.  Hopefully it's a happy place for you.  Home for me is where my husband is, my Golden Retriever is, and all my crafting goodies are.  It's definitely my happy place!  So, when I saw all these home themed goodies in the We Are 3 Digital Shop, I knew I had to create something special with them!

Isn't that fun?  I don't know why, but as soon as I saw those 2 Home digital images, this box card idea popped into my head.  I used the pre-printed versions of the Home digital images here, but they also come in black & white so you can color them however you'd like.  I used two of the Homeland papers on this box card, and the sentiment is one of four from the Home sentiment set. All of these products work so well together!

The box card is a set of dies from Crafter's Companion.  Once I got it figured out, it was very fun to work with!

Visit the We Are 3 Digital Shop and see all the wonderful products there.

Wishing You Sunshine -- for Bugaboo Stamps

Today is Oldie but Goodie day for Bugaboo Stamps.  Some of the favorite digis that maybe haven't seen some love in a while are featured on the Catch the Bug Blog.

I love to color flowers, especially this time of year, and while I don't get out my colored pencils very often, when I do, I like to pair them with Kraft paper.  That's what I did with the Bugaboo Stamps digital image, Make it Snappy Floral Mom's Day:

This image comes with 2 versions.  The other one says, "Happy Mother's Day" at the top.  You can see some cute examples of what others have done if you put MISFloralMomsDay in the search at Bugaboo Stamps (or just click the link provided, of course).

I used Lyra Rembrandt pencils on Kraft for this image.   I'd almost forgotten I had them, so they were fun to play with -- nice and smooth and easy to layer with.  The floral background paper is from  Close To My Heart.  The Sunshine sentiment and the stamped"wishing you" are a set from Crafter's Companion.

I hope you visit the Catch the Bug Blog today to see what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designer are featuring on Oldie but Goodie Thursday.  You won't be disappointed!

Hope Anchors the Soul -- for the Outlawz Paper ala Mode Challenges

It's Saturday, and when it's Saturday, there's a good chance of a new challenge starting at the Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenges.  They are every other Saturday, so check it every week, just in case! If you missed the Saturday challenge, there are challenges every day of the week.  Really!  Check out today's challenge, then stay and play!

Today, at the Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenge, the theme is Encouragement.  Wow, that's a great theme for everything going on in the world right now!  Make a get well card, a "just because" card, a card centered around Covid 19, whatever you decide to do.  Just come enter it at the Saturday Paper ala Mode before the next challenge starts in 2 weeks (June 6).  This challenge, and every challenge this year is sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop.

Here's my encouragement project for the challenge:

I used papers from the Strawberry Jam paper Collection.  There are 4 different papers from the collection used on this card.  The anchor it the pre-colored version of the Seaside Anchor.  It comes with a black & white version, also. The porthole die that I place it in is from Crafter's Companion, as is the rope die.  The sentiment is one of 4 that comes in the Hope Sentiment Set

There may not be a better time to make and send Encouragement cards.  Join us at The Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode

Sunflower Hello -- a New Release for All Dressed Up Stamps

Today is one of the days where New Releases are featured at All Dressed Up Stamps.  Every month, Wendy draws 4 new images, and twice each month, the design team features the New Releases.  Today is one of those days!  I love New Release days!  Today, I get to show you the absolutely adorable Sunflower...

I colored Sunflower with Copic markers, then used a couple of Spellbinders dies to cut her out.  The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are 2 of the papers in the Sunflower Collection.  The pretty yellow crinkle ribbon bow is from 3 Girl JAM (no longer in business).  The 'Hello' sentiment is from Frantic Stamper.

Sunflower is just one of many, many great stamps in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.  I hope you check them all out and do some shopping!  Check out the All Dressed Up Facebook Group to see what the other designers made with the New Releases, and the All Dressed Up Stamps Blog. There are monthly challenges you can enter to win All Dressed Up Stamps both places!  Get coloring!

Happy Florals -- for Colour Crazy Challenges

It's Friday, and that means there's a challenge beginning today at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog. Every week, there's a new challenge.  Challenges are always anything goes, as long as images are hand colored with whatever medium you prefer.

The sponsor for this week's challenge is Conie Fong.  She has some wonderful images, including this one!

This card features the Conie Fong image, Flowers in Vase, Colored with Copic markers.  I used a die from Crafter's Companion for the sentiment and cut it out twice, offsetting it slightly.  I added the butterfly die for a little extra bling.

Each week's challenge last 2 weeks, but a new challenge starts each week.  I do hope you'll link up your hand colored images.  I'd love to see your creations, and with our wonderful sponsors, there are wonderful prizes you can win!

Good Friends -- A Reminder for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges

I have this card on my blog today as a reminder that we are 1/2 way through the month for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges. The challenges are always anything goes.  There are 2 winners each month - one using a Jan's Digi Stamp image, and a random winner. There are also 3 designer choice awards given out.

If you follow my blog at all, you know I love dogs, and will take any opportunity I can find to create a dog related project.  When Jan released this new set, I was in doggy heaven!  This is the black and white version of A Boy and His Dog:

I colored A Boy and His Dog with Copic Markers.  The shading was pretty easy because Jan kindly gave the colorist lines to indicate where the shading should be.  The is also a colored version in the set. I used one of the sentiments that came with the image.  There are several more great ones, too.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are 2 of the Dog Love Papers

Remember, the challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges is always Anything Goes, and you could win wonderful images -- like this one!  I'd love to see what you create!

Rose Gift Bag -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Monday, and this is the day for "any project but a card" to be featured on the Catch the Bug Blog at Bugaboo Stamps.  I love making gift bags and boxes for friends and putting chocolates or gift cards, socks, or candles -- some little gift inside just to let them know I'm thinking of them -- so, that's what I did for today's ABC post at Catch the Bug!

This gift bag features the Bugaboo Stamps digi, Rose Bud Tag.  I colored Rose Bud Tag with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out.  It was by far the easiest part of the whole project!

The gift bag is a set of dies from Tonic Studios. It's called the Crochet Lace Gift Bag. It is large enough to hold LOTS of chocolate, so the recipient will be very happy with this one!  Here's another view of the bag and the Rose Bud Tag:

I hope you visit the Catch the Bug Blog today to see what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps design team member have created.  You won't be disappointed.
