Sunflower Thoughts

It's Tuesday, and Digi Choosday.  Yea!  Go grab that 33% off discount code while you can!  You only have 24 hours, and there's some new GREAT stuff in the Polkadoodles Store!

Starting today, and for the next 2 weeks, our theme is "Reds, Oranges, &/or Browns"  -- the colors of Autumn in Wisconsin.  While on a car trip this past weekend, I saw fields of sunflowers past their prime.  They were the inspiration for today's flip card.

The sunflower image, colored with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils,  is from the Sundae of Seasons CD (Halloween).  The sentiment tag and designer paper is from the Winston Deluxe Full Collection.  It's also on CD.

The card base is cut out using my Big Shot and a Sizzix Scallop Square Flip-it Die.  There's some Timeless Twine on here, and some embellishments from Close To My Heart.

The "Favorite Color" challenge is still going on for another week, so join in on that one, too!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Hiding in My Craft Room -- Freestyle
Crafting with Friends -- ATG
Fussy & Fancy Challenge -- Flowers
Graph It Color Challenge -- Autumn color scheme
The Pencil Case Challenge -- Eerie colors (Halloween/Autumn)
Outlawz Friday Color Challenge -- ATG or Christmas
The Crafty Addicts -- Autumn Color Palette

  3. Very pretty card. Sunflowers are my favourite all time flower and I hate to see them withering away at the end of their time.
