Lizabeth's Daffodils -- for Coloring Without Boundaries

There's a showcase of wonderful images and talented colorists at the Coloring Without Boundaries blog.   We are showcasing Lacy Sunshine images, from the ever talented Heather Valentin.

Today, I am showcasing Lizabeth's Daffodils:

I have a brief tutorial for you on how I colored the stem and leaves of this daffodil.   All coloring was done with Copic markers.

I started with YG03 as my first green.  I wanted a bright, light, spring-like green.

Next, I added G40.  This is a light color, easy to blend, but it has quite a bit of gray in it so it will tone the bright green down -- just what I was looking for.

Next, I added my darkest green -- G46

Then, G43

The only thing left is to blend all the greens together:

Perfect!  Let's finish this!

Here's the colors I used on this coloring:
Skin -- E000, E00, E21, E31, R20 (cheeks), R21, R22 (lips)
Eyes -- B00, B24, W01
Hair -- E21, E53, E55
Flower petals -- Y02, Y15, Y17, E15
Flower middle -- YR61, YR65, YR68, E15
Shirt -- R81, R83, R85
Pants -- BG11, BG34, BG45
Shoes RV52, RV55, RV66, C1, C3, C5

I created the Easel card using my Silhouette Cameo.  Papers are digital.  They are from Basic Grey.

I hope you join our challenge this month, and check out the Coloring Without Boundaries blog for wonderful tutorials on tips & coloring techniques.
